If I was in a multiplayer game and someone did that, I don't even think I could get mad at them, it's just too brilliant.

Does that mean Japanese planes are built better than American planes?

There is no way a Zero could have done that.

What game is this?
User avatar #152 to #148 - SubjectThree (10/30/2013) [-]
War Thunder. It's essentially TF2 with planes but it's very fun. What you saw here is not honorable at all, and ramming--even last-ditch ramming when your plane is mortally wounded--is looked down on. Still, it can get pretty difficult to avoid a slow moving plane in a fast fighter, so ramming is often accidental and the pilot of that Zero should feel lucky his own wing wasn't shredded.

Is that even possible in real life?
User avatar #213 to #195 - mrprismriver (10/30/2013) [-]
No. Japanese zeros were very thinly armored. they would probably tumble to the sea like bald eagles mating. At least the jap plane would.
User avatar #118 - srskate (10/30/2013) [+] (6 replies)
I was under the impression that the Japanese zeros weren't made in a sturdy manner, but rather in one that left them lightweight and fast.

For all I know, this isn't a zero though. Can anyone clarify?
User avatar #128 to #118 - thelastamerican (10/30/2013) [-]
That IS a zero. The things were made from a bamboo skeleton with cloth stretched over it. The engine was pretty much the only thing that gave it any weight at all. That's why there are no zeroes in museums today. They all rotted after the war.
