songsterr.com is kind of an online version of guitarpro with play along guitar and drum tabs, the tabs on there are more usefull and you can submit GP5 files that you can't find on songsterr but you did find somewhere else
best guitar tab site IMO

Ah okay. Yeah, FtR, HCDR and Halo of Blood are great (even though my favorite is still hatebreeder) Which bands are you listening to now?
Nice buitars by the way! I really used to love the jackson randy rhoads models.

I've got a Dean rc7x (f-ckin love it) btw,the pic is not mine, but it's that guitar), a Cort-X WS2 (awesome graphics, look it up) and my first guitar, an Ibanez 170DX GRG black knight

SO JEALOUS, but why didn't you take the exo-something version with the spine, that looks even better OMI.
right now I'm really into meshuggah, bought the Destroy Erase Improve album today so that has been blowing through my stereo, I also listen to Animals as Leaders, Haken, Disperse, Pain of Salvation, Transatlantic, Dream Theater, Necrophagist, Dying Fetus, Augury this one you should REALLY check out , Maggie's Bookshop, Tool, Obscura and a lot of other stuff

my guitars are all cheapos btw,
Ibanez RG7321 with a Dimarzio Evo/Air Norton combo (not pictured there)
Jackson JS32t Rhoads, it sounds like **** but it sure plays amazing
Ibanez Talman TM71 in gold
Takamine G series EG540 DLX
Alden Strat, and yes, it sounds as crappy as it looks and it will only work when playing punk

I bought the rhoads 3 years ago because I thought it looked like an ESP Alexi, but better

also, the xenocide model (USA-built with graphics) costs $2500,- so even secondhand I would never be able to afford it...
You need to login to view this link = however in my opinion the best looking Dean rc7-model. I'd give my soul for that thing but it's a very limited run, so very slim chance's ill ever get one
User avatar #110 to #104 - thijsofbodom (02/14/2014) [-]
apart from the awful headstock, that might be one of the coolest guitars ever, the headstock just looks oversized and it has a bit too much excess wood for my taste (but that's something you can expect when buying a Dean) I like the red 8 string Xenocide best though

ooh and are you familiar with the Halo guitars, guitar builder? that is a lot of ******* fun
User avatar #121 to #110 - anonywolftroll (02/14/2014) [-]
oh and, I looked them up, but to be honest those Halo guitars really aren't my thing. They seem kinda...trying too hard to be really BR00TAL, if you get what I mean.
User avatar #119 to #110 - anonywolftroll (02/14/2014) [-]
Hahaha, yeah it took me some time to get ues to the large-ish headstock too. especially since the body itself is relatively small. But by the time I got it I had seen so many of them it really didn't bother me anymore. And yeah, the red 8 string xenocide is really epic too (probably my fav after the Lazer and the RC7MM maple Board)
User avatar #100 to #98 - anonywolftroll (02/14/2014) [-]
Hahaha. Well, I got this one because (probably due to the fact that I checked for it nearly every single day) I bought it secondhand, via marktplaats. I was so glad when I found one on there, since they're USA-only I didn't suspect ever finding one for sale in our little country. When I (finally) saw one for sale I immediately went to try it out and, of course, bought it. So yeah, I got this one purely because this was the one the guy offered. Still, looking back on it I prefer this one over the white one and the wraith (=white+graphics, and my first choice back when I was looking up **** about it amost every day), I think plain black is far more elegant than graphics. Anyways, I just got REALLY lucky (and spent my 4-5 year-savings on it, which were TOTALLY worth it by the way)

As for the bands: I honestly only know meshuggah, AaL (amazing band, so skilled and unique), dream theatre, Necrophagist (nice! amazing combination of brutal and fast/technical that's still very much about the lead guitar) and Tool.
Lately I've been listening to alot of different stuff. Atm I'm (once again) listening to the new CD from Fleshgod Apocalypse (from whom I covered "the violation" at music class, at my school (which went great, by the way)). But I can listen to almost any metal. From Necrophagist to Limp Bizkit to As I Lay Dying to SepticFlesh. (see profile pic for some of my current favorites) So yeah....metal rules \m/

Sorry for the ridiculously long post, but I get overly excited and talkative when I find someone who also likes metal/plays metal guitar.

User avatar #107 to #100 - thijsofbodom (02/14/2014) [-]
in that case you got an amazing deal, I'm still looking to sell my Jackson and buy a PRS SE Akerfeldt signature, with the flame maple top ofcourse and I'm going to sand and refinish the top of my RG to natural with black sides and back, and sand the headstock and put a new logo on there, I really lie the 5 piece neck and it plays like a dream, I always seem to get lucky on guitars I bought my RG for 200 off of the old guitarist of Chiraw, and the pickups from some austrian guy on facebook.

what part of holland are you from? and what guitar are you really GASsing for right now?
User avatar #123 to #107 - anonywolftroll (02/14/2014) [-]
Oh en, laatste comment, nog twee heel speciale gitaren die ik zou willen: You need to login to view this link the new (Well, first) signature guitar of the vocalist/guitarist of Fleshgod apocalypse. and this one: You need to login to view this link (strandberg boden-7 walnut) but, eyah, I'm getting FAR too carried away over here.
User avatar #128 to #123 - thijsofbodom (02/14/2014) [-]

User avatar #130 to #128 - anonywolftroll (02/14/2014) [-]
User avatar #117 to #107 - anonywolftroll (02/14/2014) [-]
Damn. To be honest, I'm not into modding guitars. firstly because I simply don't know how to, and secondly I'm very VERY happy with how my guitars are tight now, wouldn't want to ruin it... but i got respect for people who do it, it shows you really love your guitars/guitars in general.

User avatar #125 to #117 - thijsofbodom (02/14/2014) [-]

User avatar #127 to #125 - anonywolftroll (02/14/2014) [-]
