Because this is the usual end result.

Because they're African people who were born in America. The African heritage comes from their lineage.
#40 to #36 - anon (12/14/2015) [-]
What if your parents are white south africans who moved to america, then concieved you. Are you still african american?
User avatar #42 to #40 - ogthegreat (12/14/2015) [-]

>African Americans

People can be nonwhite and not consider themselves from Africa. I know because I was yelled at by my Spanish teacher who is black and from Panama. And then when I started using black. A black chick yelled at me for not saying African American.

******* ******* . Can't win with them,

Some brilliant british satire.

holy ****
There's bound to be some but-hurt douche thinking this is offensive, but god is it hilarious.
#20 to #2 - anon (12/13/2015) [-]
the problem's people who assume it's a joke about black people rather than a joke about journalism, probably an easy mistake to make
User avatar #32 to #20 - forsakensaint (12/13/2015) [-]
Its funny both ways...
#41 to #32 - anon (12/14/2015) [-]
Not really, plus it wasn't intended to be taken as a racist joke so it doesn't work
User avatar #48 to #41 - forsakensaint (12/14/2015) [-]
Not really in your mind, yes really in mine... So, my comment stands, as my opinion it is funny as a racist joke and it is funny as dissing media...

British humor is always, dry, childish, and unoriginal. Ya history is so ***** there's nothing to laugh about.
#31 to #17 - anon (12/13/2015) [-]
all the good humor is based on british humor
User avatar #21 to #17 - cthumoo (12/13/2015) [-]
'Ya history is so ***** there's nothing to laugh about'
what do you mean by that, do you mean Britain's history of comedy or...? it just doesn't seem to link to the first thing you said
User avatar #23 to #21 - debino (12/13/2015) [-]
You think people in Afghanistan and Ethiopia have a good sense of humor?
User avatar #24 to #23 - cthumoo (12/13/2015) [-]
I don't know, maybe? I'm not feigning confusion, I'm genuinely unsure as to what you're talking about
User avatar #26 to #24 - debino (12/13/2015) [-]
That video and Brit humor is not funny or creative ya worst racist than us.
#27 to #26 - cthumoo (12/13/2015) [-]
I don't think British humour is typically about race, the video is also from a show which ridicules journalism/ the news so it's again not a joke about race. I understand what you were trying to say now so
User avatar #28 to #27 - debino (12/13/2015) [-]
I swear every time I see things like this on the internet or t.v, the joke is the show not the actual writing.
User avatar #33 to #28 - cthumoo (12/13/2015) [-]
The guy he's interviewing is labelled as 'Representing every single black person in Britain' a joke on the implied authority news stations label interviewees. The whole story was blatantly manufactured to support their own agenda. The language used by the reporter is overtly conservative for comic effect. The segment ended immediately after they got the answer they wanted out of him. Chris Morris' character is heavily inspired by Jeremy Paxman (an English news broadcaster if you didn't know).

I dunno, the writing seems to stick with the premise of the show

It's like you don't even know what you're trying to say. You're just stringing together words until they form something with a vauge sense of coherence then hitting post.
Please for everyone's sake keep your moronic thoughts to yourself.
You moron.

Man, British humor is so dry. I mean this was funny, but it just as easily could have not been. I just don't understand british humor.
User avatar #43 to #39 - kyoutu (12/14/2015) [-]
I think that's what is brilliant about, there is a fine line between awakrd/funny and just awkward.

I think that's why I prefer The Office UK ovet the American version, the American version is just too silly and seems like it's aimed at a much younger audience.
