Both are from Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica, or Puella Magi Madoka Magica, though it's the same thing.
Those are both the most central and main characters. Well, at least Madoka is, since she's the namesake of the show.
I finished the series just last week and I had extremely high expectations for it, which were mostly met. It looks great, plenty of pretty good action with very creative enemies and **** .
8/10 I recommend it.
