This is more impressive than her lifting it.

I would watch this as a sport.

Crossfitters when will they learn. Crossfit is to fitness what Scientology is to religion.
User avatar #6 to #5 - richardastley (08/16/2014) [-]
It's a form of fitness that members of other fitnesses don't like?
User avatar #7 to #6 - itepenis (08/16/2014) [-]

User avatar #31 to #14 - keltainenlumi (08/16/2014) [-]
So working out sucks and crossfit doesn't.
User avatar #56 to #12 - Epicgetguy (08/16/2014) [-]
When you're working out, the goal is to use exercise to get fit.

In crossfit, the goal is exercise.

Why is there female weight lifting?
Men can lift about 3 times heavier weight.
What is the purpose of having female counterpart that cant reach 1/3 of what men can.
User avatar #43 to #15 - nanako (08/16/2014) [-]
what do you mean what's the point.

As a sport? yeah maybe, it seems a little silly. but i don't like gender-segregated sports in general.

Aside from that, female bodybuilding is totally a thing, not everyone's cup of tea, but it is mine.
User avatar #28 to #15 - leonhardt (08/16/2014) [-]
Because they can still lift?
#42 to #15 - auryn (08/16/2014) [-]
What's the point of eating if there are people who can eat three times as much as you can?

What's the point of working if there are people who can earn three times as much as you do?
#62 to #42 - crocodilorage (08/16/2014) [-]
They are doing a competition.
I wouldn't go to a food eating competition with a whale, because i know i would lose.
I wouldn't fight with a gorilla because i am not stronger.
#63 to #62 - auryn (08/16/2014) [-]
Oh, okay. I see your point.

I should abstain from improving myself on things that I love to do because there will always be people who are significantly better than I.
Thanks your wise insight, I will live my life accordingly now.
#64 to #63 - crocodilorage (08/16/2014) [-]
Yes that is exactly what i taught, but i find sarcasm in your comment.
I don't see the reason in improving yourself if there is someone human who i better at it than you.
And if at start i cannot win ; for example i want to be champion in running and yet i have genetic diabetes (This one is passed in your blood) body fatigue is doubled and i simply cannot win, therefore i will not even try. I will try something else where i can be best.
#65 to #64 - auryn (08/17/2014) [-]
It's not just about winning.

It's about pushing your own limits. it's about developing yourself. It's about control, focus, discipline and mastery.
These are all qualities that would benefit every human being in many ways.
But mainly it's about doing what you love to do.
Only fool would restrain himself from these things just because he might not become the best of the entire world.

Besides you do realize that women and men do not compete with eachother, and even with each gender there are several weight classes.
User avatar #67 to #65 - srskate (08/17/2014) [-]
That was moving man, yet it appears that sir winning-is-everything crocodilorage didn't like it.
#68 to #67 - auryn (08/17/2014) [-]
Thanks.

But I liked your burn (comment #21) better, haha.
User avatar #21 to #15 - srskate (08/16/2014) [-]
Yet they can all lift more than you.
#61 to #21 - crocodilorage (08/16/2014) [-]
Average woman can't.
User avatar #66 to #61 - srskate (08/17/2014) [-]
yup, thats just biology. These women work their asses off though, probably harder than you will work at anything. As such, there are competitions for them, because they deserve it.
#58 - isbak ONLINE (08/16/2014) [-]

I'm not into excercise or anything such so I wouldn't know, but does this have any effect?
User avatar #53 to #52 - oceanfrank (08/16/2014) [-]
no.... this is legit completely uneccessary and one of the most dangerous thing I've ever seen someone do with exercise equipment
#55 to #53 - itraxx (08/16/2014) [-]
Well this would actually be a very good exercise but it hurts me just to see them do it with this equipment... Maybe a boxing bag or something would be a better option
#54 to #47 - thahobomaster (08/16/2014) [-]
hmm since those are crossfit plates they shouldnt weigh anymore than a few grams...nothing dangerous here
#59 to #54 - phynight (08/16/2014) [-]
I'm no expert, but that looks like an Olympic bar. 20kg of metal landing on your face sounds painful.
#60 to #59 - thahobomaster (08/16/2014) [-]
it's alright since crossfit plates are fillied with helium, therefore almost neutralizing the weight of the bar until it weights no more than a few grams

DW about the details I am an expert
