I'm really not surprised by that fact

They gave him a right-hand ball when he's left handed, practically impossible to throw correctly. Most people think that it was a publicity stunt for the stadium and news and such.

A bucket full of ice water over the head for Slick Willie should be no big deal. After all he is married to Hillary

On the contrary, W. actually donated money to the ALS foundation. Whereas a bunch of swag faggots and attention whores just do it in bikinis to get feel like people like them, he actually donated. So if anything, W. kept it the way it was supposed to be, and all these whores are trying to turn it into another "no shave november" or "hashtag no filter" where the purpose is lost.
#24 to #16 - anon (08/23/2014) [-]
I've got a question, I got nominated for it and I intend to follow through but I really have no money to donate but I want to donate once I start my career and do have some money to give. Is that acceptable?
User avatar #36 to #24 - syrenthra ONLINE (08/23/2014) [-]
why wouldn't it be? if you want to donate you should do it when ever, **** peer pressure
#55 to #24 - anon (08/24/2014) [-]
It doesn't really matter where the money comes from, just as long as somebody donates money because of it, otherwise you're just one of those faggots who're doing it because it's "in" right now.
User avatar #47 to #24 - captainstinkypinky (08/24/2014) [-]
There's really no requirement to donate or do the challenge.

The nice thing about charity is that no matter how much you donate, or when you donate, you're still donating and doing something good.

no.
User avatar #18 to #16 - realvegzillar (08/23/2014) [-]
What I mean is if W does it, then it's about to reach its peak. Because for him to have heard of it and be inclined to do it, it would have already reached a point of popularity. Bad wording on my part

ok lets get this **** straight. the point of this **** was to either dump water on yourself OR donate money. NOT dump water on yourself and then donate. this means that once you are nominated then you are forced to donate money either way which is straight up ******** . im sorry but i dont have money to ******* donate at this moment. i have a **** job and watever money i get goes to my college bills and my other bills. i barely have any left for food.
User avatar #62 to #60 - tenacioustroll (08/24/2014) [-]
Same with the raw egg challenge. at first it started up as you either drink raw eggs or donate money. then one day some kid drank the eggs and donated. after that he got on his high horse and started bitching how people didnt donate after drinking the eggs. which wasnt how the deal went in the first place. of course there isnt anything wrong with donating money and more people should. but its not right for other people to force you into it. it should be your choice.
#61 to #60 - kulamia (08/24/2014) [-]
I don't have the money to donate RIGHT NOW either, but my friend nominated me, I did the ice bucket, and vowed to donate money. Once I get my paycheck I will give the money.
#65 to #61 - anon (08/24/2014) [-]
but that still isnt right. i dont feel its right for someone to call me out and then im forced to donate money i dont have. these things started out as an ultimatum. then people started feeling guilty and its out of control. sorry to burst your buuble internet. but this stuff is ******** and if im ever nominated i wont be able to donate. its getting out of control.
#66 to #65 - kulamia (08/24/2014) [-]
How does that continue to work if everyone donates?

#1: I nominate #2, #3, and #4
#2: I donate
#3: I donate
#4: I donate

ALS foundation: well **** . We made $150.
#68 to #66 - anon (08/24/2014) [-]
i dont think you are getting what im saying to you. donating should be your own choice. its nice that this started getting people aware and all but its not right for someone else to force me to donate. Thats like me making up a challenge and then telling people they have to donate to my college fund because im broke. then i nominate people and they nominate others and so forth. pretty soon i will have it paid for. but its still not right for me to do that because then im forcing other people to do it when in the first place they wouldnt have. i know its for a good cause and all. but its still should be a choice. not forced when someone calls on you. i understand others are involved.
#37 to #16 - kingdork (08/23/2014) [-]
The whole ice bucket challenge was started up by Bain Capital. Founded by part-time prophet4profit, Mitt Romney. aka Mitinumus Romminus aka Mitt Romney Linconsevelt.
