Me and my bud made some fond memories playing through the Army of two games but at the end of the second one when you have to choose to shoot your partner or the dude he instantly shot me. He said he just hit a button on instinct but I knew, and I have never let him live it down.

So me and my flatmate (let's call him P) had this big uni assignment in a while back, we're pretty bad procrastinators so when he mentions "Let's have a quick Star Wars Battlefront II game" I jump on that controlller straight away.

Set it up. "Let's be on opposite teams this time" "Ya sure okay"

The Kamino level, you know with the bridges and water n **** . I'm Clones, P's the Droids.

Although I'm getting more kills, my ticket counters dropping like a ******* skydiver (P likes to capture command points, PTFO etc.) Me - 1, P - 40 reinforcements left. I joke with him to say it would be an epic comeback to make this even, just as I claim the Award Rifle (Remember the one with really fast burst fire).

By some miracle I then proceed to sit back and mow his forces down as they run onto me, one by one, until the ticket counter becomes even, 1v1 irl faget.

Complete stalemate, I've changed class to a sniper, for some unknown reason he is a Magna droid. He's behind a pillar, I'm up on the platform, sights on him constantly.

"As soon as you move I'm blowing your ******* brains out P."

"You forget... magna droids have those little drones."

He sends the tiny little floating ******* up, one after the other to wittle my health away, im blasting them with my pistol. This, in between desperately dashing for ammo and health droids around the map, continues for FIVE HOURS.

Eventually I get close enough to flush him out, I throw a grenade whilst feinting a dash for a health droid. He pops round, gets a face full of shrapnel. It is over.

Mfw its 5am and the morning sun begins to peek through the curtains, bathing my face in victorious light.

Our fw when upon realising we had an assignment due in three hours, it was still worth it all.

I played battlefront 2 upto 5 hours everyday from the age of 9-12 and farmed up every single award wep to legendary (that makes you start with award wep)... then my autistic 6 year old brother ate half the disc (we were poor so really hard to get a new one) and by the time we got a new one he'd thrown the memory brick (or whatever it's called) in the ocean

know that feel from Halo 3 live.
Whenever me and 2 others played team up we had this ultimate matchup.
One was OP with snper and long distance combat, while the other was best at medium range combat and I did the medium - short range and we could dominate big team matches easily.
Versus however.. either we slaughtered each other or nobody could land a hit. ( actual screenshot from one of our versus fights)

Especially TTT or Murder. Those two game types lose all trust in friendships.

Well, me and my friend always were honest to each other.
We never told anything about our team mates, but also didn't really kill each other...
Well, we would avoid each other.

Reminds me of Star Wars Battlefront 1. My cousin and I were usually on opposite sides. But when that Kashyyk map came on, we joined the Republic and we sniped the **** out of the CIS. They never even hit the beach head.

Played Sacred 2 with my mate on PS3.

I don't play games much cos I am going pro for rugby so busy.

Had a month or so over summer. Inbetween end of season and pre season training where I just wanting to eat loads of **** I couldnt normally do and be lazy and play games all day.

Played Sacred 2 with him for like 5 hours a day. Chilling while killing stuff and talking on mics.

Whenever I look back at my fondest memories in life, its not high on the list, but its on there. Which I find pretty amazing.

At parents house inbetween seasons this summer. Find my old ps3 games. Fiund Sacred 3 and decide to play it, so many good times on it. Had to stop after 5 mins cos it just felt like my mate was missing and it made it unplayable.

They're both equally fun, but there is a certain amount of frustration when you know for a fact that your friend is significantly better than you at the game. 1v1ing my friend in Smite is always an education, but also an ego-check.
