my mom used to do this to me. she would go to the movies and say im 12 and it was always me this would happen to.
>go to the movies
> age 14
> cousins are 10, 10, 14
>cousins mom lies about 14 they get their tickets move on
> mom lies too
> woman asks me if im really 12
> i start shaking. im not supposed to lie. i get in trouble when i lie
> i start to cry a little out of fear
> i say no im 14
> mom gets super mad lady asks us to pay the price for my ticket
> mom takes me home and punishes me
> i get punished for telling the truth
she told me to lie when i can about my age. stupid thing was that we had more than enough money so i never understood why we lied.

About half a year after I turned thirteen, I started growing A LOT. about two months later I was six foot, and I lived near a movie theatre, AND they didn't check ID's, just checked to see if you looked old enough. I went to see a movie, then shaved. Let my facial hair grow back out just enough that I'd have stubble So I'd look older, if you can't figure that out , went to the movies, shaved afterwards again. I had to stop doing this when I went back to school, but they've seen me enough they let me in regardless.

ive always looked very young for my age. short, skinny, and for girls it can be harder to tell unless breasts are involved. i used to not be able to play in the "big kids place" all the time. i got kicked out for being younger than nine when i was 13

Of course you should lie about you're age if you can get a cheaper price, if your ******* 14 years old you shouldn't be this dense, and starting to cry just makes you seem like a giant loser.

when i would go to my grandparents house they would always say eat whatever you want even if its the last one. dont waste it and tell us if its the last.
my mom would have HER drinks HER yogurt HER snacks. for awhile i ate rice eggs and quesadillas only cause everything else was hers or my dads. my dad had like his special things. but i understood because he needs them for work.

people always say things like "i dont want to be like them" they always end up like them. im like my dad but in the good ways. what bugs me is when they know they are doing something wrong and all they can say is thats how i was raised. thats my moms excuse

Man, **** half the price.. I'd rather not be able to pass as 4 years younger, but I used the most of it.
I am 18 now and you should see the facial expressions of people who don't know me and ask my age... It's bordering rude.

Lucky you, I looked older so even when I was young enough people would obviously be reluctant (because of height)

A few years ago, my family and I all went to this crappy restaurant for mother's day. My aunt has never been in the best financial situation and this venue was the type to charge $25-30 for an adult's plate. Prior to going inside, she told one of her sons that if anyone asked, he was to say that he was 12. She told him again once we got to our table and he screamed out of frustration that he understood. When the waitress came by to take our orders, she assumed that he was old enough for the adult menu, but my aunt asked for a kids menu for him because "he was 12." My poor, simple, cousin didn't waste a beat before he shouted out "WHAT?! NO, I'M NOT! I'M FOURTEEN!"

So an aunt in financial trouble decided that going to a restaurant and spending 25-30 for an adult plate and who knows what for her children is a cheaper option than making dinner at home? right...
