Don't worry kids! If some cockgobbler ever does this to you, just remember you're being paid to be there and they have to wait for you to finish counting.
Every single coin.
One at a time.
It could take hours, especially if they ask what's taking so long and you lose count.
Several times.
And if you aren't finished by closing time you'll have to give it back and ask them to try again the next day.
