infensive (01/06/2016) [-] Well that's more of a problem with Microsoft and Sony not supporting it, and publishers just wanting to maximize profits. At the very least you can transfer your characters over, from what I've heard.
But honestly, it's on you if you bought it for 360 and then decided to upgrade to an Xbone. TTK didn't come out that long ago, and we've had two major sales, Black Friday and Christmas. So if you did get an Xbone, you had two opportunities to nab it for a really low price.

No offense, but you might as well be complaining about how publishers lower the prices of their games over time, and this is a thing that's been going on forever. If you don't want to be a victim of it, don't buy games on day one, especially if you don't want to pay more.
Destiny also needs continuous content updates if they want the playerbase to remain active. I do think the content ought to be free and should be funded in other ways, and that's the route they're taking now. Destiny isn't a big enough game to leave part of the playerbase behind and give them no incentive to buy the latest content, and this is the flaw with Destiny. Because you're right, people shouldn't be forced to buy the latest content, but Destiny doesn't work that way. So, the best option is to just give everybody the content, and that's basically what they're going to be doing now.

They don't lock off entire levels or difficulties you already played until you rebuy them. They don't call their own fan base cowards or spoiled children when asked "Why are you making people buy the same game twice". They actually give you a ******* story, even if it is **** most of the time. They don't build a game around rng that only works once per ******* week. And to top it all off, they don't have the balls to include ******* microtransactions
But please, tell me how CoD is bad for being a finished product that doesn't double charge you for the same game. I'm just saying that CoD was ******* awesome in the first ones, but the idea is a bit stretched (but not utter **** neither). I don't like it, some do (like you, apprently). Destiny, on the other hand, did do some sneacky moves. The expansion thing really was ******** , but at the end i enjoy the game and it's overall mechanics. I knew that it could happen, and that's why i waited to buy it .cost me 55CAD for the hole game via online store for my xbone instead of almost 120CAD for the ones who played it since day 1

jagerhaus (01/05/2016) [-] This game was all the hype before release. I pre-ordered and saw all the news leading up to it. Absolutely wrecked people's **** in Beta. And then it comes out and is super fun and worth it all. It then completely turns around at level 20 and its no longer very fun. That being before the first DLC came out of course. Which in my opinion wasn't worth the money. Everything else goes to **** when Taken King comes out and you are forced to repurchase but at that point I lost all interest in the game. For some reason I do have two discs laying around though. There was a lot of potential that just got wasted.

deathstare [OP](01/05/2016) [-] For me, it was not fun until I got to level 20. Then I was able to do harder activities with my fireteam. The Vault of Glass raid was the best thing they could have done. If they released Crota's end first, this game would not have nearly as many still playing.
