How does the Elizabeth one keep getting posted? It has hardly any deapth outside of the actual game, yet people always include it.

Javik's one is my favorite one though, that's one hella quote.

Slight Mass Effect spoilers ahead
Javik is just generally kind of an asshole because he is the last of his kind (his race was anihilated in the last Reaper cycle) and does what he must to stop the Reaper threat. When Shepard reacts that his way of doing things is a bit extreme he says something along the lines "That's because you think you can save the galaxy with your honor still intact" to which Shepard responds with "I do," then Javik's quote follows.
The game is just packed with memorable quotes, another one of my favorites is "It's so much easier to see the world in black and white. But grey...? I don't know what to do with grey..." by Garrus Vakarian but that may be just me, I like thing black and white too

Anyway if you're interested I suggest you play it, it's one hell of an experience

Each companion in Mass Effect presents different ways of looking at things and different moral ideologies because of their race and history Garrus is the idea of honour through service but being unwilling to do as is expected of him, Tali having to deal with her people's mistakes and trying to improve her races lot, etc.
Javik's race was an empire that spanned most of the galaxy and had a bloody war with the Reapers for more than a hundred years before he was even born (which they eventually lost)
Javik was made into an 'avatar of vengance' for the Protheans and put in cryo with a few thousand other soldiers who were to come out when the Reapers went back to sleep, forcibly uplift some other species and then destroy the reapers while rebuilding the empire. Except **** happened to the facility and they weren't woken up and they all died in cryo sleep except for Javik who was woken up when the Reapers are coming round again. He also has a memory shard which contains a memory he doesn't want to remember about how he had to kill his brainwashed comrades which is part of why he is the avatar of vengeance
Javik is fueled by rage and hatred for the Reapers. Everyone hates them for what is happening but Javik is the most outspoken, supports the actions which will do the most damage to the Reapers, even if all life ends as a result. He is wholly defined by his need to make the Reapers pay. He says the quote in response to a question about why he has such disregard for honour and maintaining morals. While some companions do advise for more renegade actions with Javik it is because he wants to see the Reapers pay for what they have done

Though they put in immense effort to fix the troubles in their life, there would always be troubles somewhere. Not inspiring in the least if you ask me, since it means effort to overcome obstacles is ultimately futile. But you know, to each their own
