jaevel (12/27/2015) [-] The funny thing is that Phasma seems to and have been planned to be the new series Bobba fett, in a way. A masked enemy, of high authority, with a sleek and cool armor design , and who says little and does little in the movie but still somehow manages to look menacing.

I think a big part of the reason I didn't like it was the constant "homages" to earlier movies and the disneyescue humor/love. It felt like return of the jedi as retold by a dead cat. Plus it absolutely ***** all over Luke's achievements in ROTJ. Oh you destroyed the Death Star? **** you, here's a death super star! Oh, but don't worry, we didn't learn anything from the last two, and this one is equally as easy to destroy. Also the new sithlord is an edgy teenager, and the most memorable moment was a stormtrooper with a baton.
