Every time I read one of these I have to wonder, why the hell no one does anything about it, I mean kids are getting hurt enough to go to the hospital, that kid should get suspended or go to juvie, he should at least be watched at all times. It really shouldn't have gotten to the point of someone being traumatized by it.

I know right? Like just after the first ******* guy, something surely must be done. In my experience, bullies who verbally abuse are worse in the way that they so easily get away with it, Ive had more problems with those.
But getting away with physical bullying is just ridiculous, the evidence is right there. A broken foreheadbone? It feels like if this took place somewhere else than a school, this would be taken more seriously.

What would happen then if they get reported to the police? It happens in school or not, it's still physical abuse and it looks like most schools doesn't do **** about it.
In the last years of elementary school the boys in my classmade a good harassing target from me because I dresed in black and "goth bitch" was a pretty liught thing I got called, but the teachers only said "well it's your fault, don't dress like that"

Welcome to the American Schooling System. Where the victims usually get in more trouble than the bullies
User avatar #10 to #9 - mooproxy (01/02/2014) [-]
British system too, while we're at it.

It seems it's too much effort to fill out forms to isolate or expel a pupil, but letting them scar a person for life is perfectly fine.
#11 to #10 - fuckatron (01/02/2014) [-]
Honestly, I say we just kill all the bullies. I have seen way too many occasions where the physical bullying has gotten out of hand and nobody does anything, so I say we gather up all the kids we know are bullies, whether they are Tards, Bieng abused at home, whatever, and just put them in a ring. Whoever survives at the end is given a 10 dollar giftcard to burger king or something. They are not giving anything to society but pain and suffering, and are probably just going to end up flipping burgers anyway. Like in this story, at the point where he started forming a ******* gang of gimps, somebody should have just done away with him.

The only issue with that being that we'd be naturally selecting the most violent and dangerous bullies.
#26 to #24 - fuckatron (01/02/2014) [-]
Well wouldn't they be kind of traumatized from having to kill all those other people and seeing all hat death, sure one or two may embrace it and snap, but there's always the fact that they'll get guned down in self defense by somebody.
User avatar #17 to #11 - Denmarrk (01/02/2014) [-]
I would like to back up the statement of victims getting in more trouble than bullies.

In middle school there was this kid. Used to verbally abuse me and physically abuse me. Biggest rule in that school was no hands on each other, at all. if you were hugging someone a teacher would question the **** out of you. This kid hit me due to me stepping back and accidentally stepping on him. I was so **** angry at that kid that I shoved him and he went flying. Rest of the period he insulted me. Next period he starts **** again. I complain to the dean about him and the dean has the ******* balls to tell me that I was just overreacting about it. Same with all the teachers.

TL;DR America's school system is so jacked up.
User avatar #23 to #17 - mooproxy (01/02/2014) [-]
British too.
I've had some kid (and his gang of gimps) seek me out every day, drag me down to this more secluded area of school, and beat the **** out of me with sticks (and their fists) and whatever else they could find. After months of this and assorted non-bullying-related teachers find it happening, the head of bullying related matters gave me the insightful advice "try to avoid them"

Like I said above, it's too much effort to save a kid it would seem.
User avatar #25 to #23 - Denmarrk (01/02/2014) [-]
"Try to avoid them" has been told to me so many times.

Holy **** we go to the same school how am I supposed to avoid them lay down and pretend i'm not there?
#263 to #17 - anon (01/03/2014) [-]
The only solution I've found to bullies is to actually resort to a physical altercation. I'm not a violent person, and I detest any form of violence. But I have no tolerance at all for bullies, this is after I was bullied for several years and all through middle school. High school rolls around, and I'm no longer going to stand for it.

Junior year comes, and some asshole named Jose starts giving me a hard time. He's a overweight mexican, and a bit of a swaggot (you know those shirts and hats). He starts hanging around my friends, and constantly putting his arm around me, taking my backpack, etc. typical a-hole behavior.

So one day, he starts throwing things at me, and shooting rubberbands at me. I told him if he shoots one more that he'll regret it. He does, and I ended up hitting him. Grabbed him around the neck, and landed a few punches to his neck. Teachers and administration who were standing maybe 5 meters away don't even notice.

That guy wont even look me in the eye anymore.
User avatar #360 to #263 - Denmarrk (01/03/2014) [-]
Ooooh **** , good job. I did resort to hitting the kid whenever he wanted to start, and I plan on taking care of any bullies for the rest of my high school career with my fists. I may be a girl but I can take down any senior guy if it was necessary.
#19 to #17 - fuckatron (01/02/2014) [-]
**** teachers, I've had experiences just like that in elementary school, but I always followed that up by arguing further with the teacher. And if that didn't work, I would beat the **** out of the bully, at least until fourth grade where I stopped that all together.
User avatar #20 to #19 - Denmarrk (01/02/2014) [-]
I did hit that kid almost every time he hit me once I realized no one was going to do anything.

Letting the bullies do their business is not the only problem. If you get tired of their **** and stand up for yourself and fight back, the school will be more than happy to punish you with the reasoning that violence is not the answer, you should find other ways to solve it (like telling to the teachers who don't do **** about it?). The best method for that is what I heard from my father. When he was in the army, it was their business to make each other behave well, so if someone was causing trouble, they tought him a lesson and as long as there were only minor injuries no one cared.

I'm kind of curious about Britain. More specifically the chavs you call them, right? Do they really do that seagulling thing? I think that's what they call it. When you masturbate and with your ejaculate in your hand you wipe it on someone's face. That's just a rumor right?
User avatar #359 to #82 - mooproxy (01/03/2014) [-]
I've never seen it, though it wouldn't remotely surprise me. And not just by "Chavs" that concept is getting a bit outdated I think
User avatar #142 to #82 - fukkendragonite (01/03/2014) [-]
I've never seen that to be honest.

And about the chavs thing, I want to clear something up. People think Britain is 90% chavs- it's not. ********* news outlets like the Daily Mail use the word "chav" as a derogatory term for anyone working class. Basically, if you are aged 12-25 and you live in a slightly more deprived background, the papers will label you a chav. It also comes from people who are afraid of crime and have this irrational fear that there are "chavs everywhere". The word chav means **** all other than a wannabe gangster criminal, and there's not as much of a problem as people seem to think. Admittedly, still a problem though.
User avatar #146 to #142 - confusedasian (01/03/2014) [-]
I never thought of it like that. I just thought chavs were like wannabe thugs we have in America.
User avatar #356 to #146 - fukkendragonite (01/03/2014) [-]
All our newspapers are designed to spread panic and fear and they only ever seem to write about "Chavs", "Immigrants", "Muslims" or "Scroungers (people on benefits/social security/whatever it's called in America when people don't work and collect government money)"

You know the comedian Reginald D Hunter right? Black American dude from the deep south? He does a lot of comedy shows in the UK and he says that people in America ask if there's any racism in Britain and he says "Nah man, they've evolved beyond racism. They use something called the "class system" to discriminate against each other. It's basically the system that the British use to discriminate against people who look exactly like them... Real clever stuff..."
User avatar #354 to #146 - fukkendragonite (01/03/2014) [-]
Real chavs are like the wannabe thugs you get over there (only with a bit more "u wot m8?" in their vocab).

But the reason people believe it's some sort of big problem is because posh twats run our country and they do everything to put down the working classes. I don't particularly come from a poorer background, but money has been tight before in our household and I know what it's like to be branded a chav by some old woman looking down her nose at me because we haven't been able to afford top range clothes and I'm taking the bus because we can't afford a car.
