Wasn't Oedipus the guy who ****** his mother and killed his father, but when he realized that she was his mother, he scratches his eyes out?

It was something like this: Oedipus was born into a family that heard of a prophecy that their son would kill the father and bed the mother. They order the child killed, instead he is taken out of the city and given up to another family.

Oedipus was traveling and detached from his royal family in the city later as an adult. One day he is insulted by a man on the roads, twice I believe, and so he kills the man. That man turns out to be his father. Back home no one knows what happened to the king except that he was murdered.

When Oedipus returns to his home city he eventually becomes king, marries his mother (whom he does not know/recognize) and as a just man decides to solve the mysterious murder of the previous king. He eventually finds out that he was actually the kings son, his murderer and that his current queen is his mother. The mother is horrified and kills herself and Oedipus gouges out his eyes in horror.

That second paragraph started badly. It should have started, "Oedipus was detached from his royal family in the city and was traveling the roads as an adult".

He wasn't taken out of the city and given to another family, his ankles were pierced so he couldn't walk or crawl and he was left to die in an "abandoned" country house which actually happened to be owned by a farmer who found the baby. Royalty from another town ended up adopting him, where a fortune teller told him of the prophecy and he leaves to avoid killing his parents, because he loved them. (not his real parents tho)

Also he wasn't insulted, he was asked to step aside for the king (his father's) chariot, as was the custom for royalty, but being the spoiled royal **** he was, he refused to move and provoked the guards and the king (who he didn't know was his real father.) Then slaughtered them all.

Then he solved the sphinx's riddle and saves the late king's city, and so he is given the city to rule as reward. Then he bones his mom and has two daughters then gouges his eyes out with broaches. Then he wanders as a beggar, cursed for the rest of his days.

Learn your greek, son.

Surely, I have no Idea what you are speaking of.

If, however, I had any clue what you are refering to here, then I'd say that the Sphinx was one of my favourite things in that game.

But since I do not know what you are speaking of I can not. My apologies, good man

Fennekin is pretty close, it starts as a normal fox, grows into a humanoid fox, but it'd be strech to say its final form has 3 legs.

No, the closest is the Gigalith family which goes by two legs in the morning, three legs at noon, and four legs in the evening.
