I've already seen a LOTR comp in here, and not a long time ago either. By all means, if you already plan on doing it, I'd still read the **** out of it. However, if I may suggest, some other fantasy themed comp would be exceptional. Maybe Wheel of Time or Game of Thrones, or any good fantasy book that is.
Keep the great word, psy. I love reading your comps

Is the fact that Lotr is popular a turn off to doing the comps? Cause I'm a big fan and read the books and would be into some of those comps

I've said it before but the Wheel of Time doesn't get nearly as much attention as it deserves and they have a huge history that is actually really cool. There'd be hella characters to make comps out of , not to mention sects, militias, armies and battles. I'm mostly just trying to get people interested in WoT.

Who the **** thought it would be a great idea to exhile dark Jedi to an inhabited planet?

I would have loved to hear the conversation about how that played out...

"Sir, aren't you scared that by sending the Dark Jedi there, they might enslave the planet's race, and use them to further spread their dark ideology and power?

"Nah... I'm sure it will be fine"

The Galaxy goes in cycles, and part of this cycle is that the Jedi eventually become too powerful and their leadership loses sight of what their order is supposed to be about.

They knew it was inhabited, because the Sith race had earlier driven off Killik colonists from their planet. Prior to the Dark Jedi being exiled there.

They weren't exiled to a planet, they were kicked out of Jedi-aligned or Republic space and were forced to flee to the Outer Rim. That's actually how most exiles go. If you're exiled to a specific place, that's more like imprisonment.

They weren't exiled specifically to Korriban, they were loaded onto a transport and escorted to the edge of charted space, where they were forced to make an uncharted hyperspace jump into the Unknown Regions. Once there they found their way to Korriban themselves, likely led there by the strong presence in the force of the native population

My point is comments are comment. That is my comment. I noticed it sounded familiar, went back to the Wikia page, and commented. Comments are comments. I commented on this post with my comment. Now I see that you commented on my comment asking what was the point of my comment. I don't understand why you think my comment had no point? Obviously the point of my comment was to call attention to the other readers that all of this other information can be found easily on the Star Wars Wikia. Commenting is something that commentors do on certain posts. I have a question for you though, commentor. Why are you commenting on my comment? Do you feel as if you needed to comment on my comment saying that my comment was useless, because through all the evaluation of your comment I have found that your comment is the less important comment.

There's plenty more on there, so if you want to learn more, then by all means head over to the site and read the articles. Otherwise these are pretty great synopses for people who just want to get the gist of things.

Yes. And before the dark jedi took over Sith species and turned them into a dark species there were a few Sith heroes.
Sek'nos Rath was a Sith Je'daii, a hero and a champion in war against dark side Rakata.
But after the Republic massacred Sith after the Great Hyperspace war, few remaining Sith hate Jedi with a passion, so its not likely one would join.

Je'daii =/= Jedi
The first practiced both light and dark teachings, as they needed to balance the world of Tython to survive. So technically, they are not Jedi.

A Sith Pureblood by the name of Scourge served as a Sith Lord and the Emperor's Wrath (prior to that title being claimed by Darth Baras' apprentice) for over 300 years after having been made immortal, and has a history of betraying the Empire. Most notably when he allied himself with Meetra Surik and Revan (during one of the times that he decided he didn't feel like being a Sith Lord), but he then betrayed them as well and went back to the Emperor only to betray him again when the Hero of Tython came along.

Following the appearance of the Hero of Tython, Scourge defected from the Empire and worked with the Republic and Jedi Council to help destroy the Emperor. He was never technically a Jedi, as he remained a practitioner of the Dark Side and therefore remained a Sith, but he was plenty willing to join the Republic to destroy the resurgent Sith Empire following the Great Hyperspace War.

Not quite.
Dark Jedi that took over the Sith species call themselves Dark Lords of the Sith, or Sith Lords. Sith is just a short for it.
To the Sith Lords its important to show that they have an unbroken line down to the Sith Empire. To them its the Lord part that is important, not the Sith part.
Also Sith are not dark jedi. Dark jedi is simply a Jedi that has fallen to the dark side. Sith have their own set of beliefs, abilities, dark side alchemy and most importantly a Code, that separate them from ordinary dark jedi. They are massively more powerful.
