This is so much more dangerous than people realize. I used to live in Hawaii and these little spouts are made when waves crash against the rocks and force air through a little tunnel.
Well stupid people like this kid stand too close and when a particularly big wave hits, a lot of water comes out, then gets drawn back in. People who get sucked into these things are basically ****** because the waves will just keep slamming them into the jagged rocks until they're bludgeoned to death or drown. Happens every year. Stupid tourists.
yooo my best friend tukui told me about these kind of things... he said he's known quite a few people who have gotten killed by getting sucked into them.
No he's right, I thought he missed too at first
But look at the fence before he falls and after. One of the spikes is missing after he falls.
Not only did he get impaled, but he snapped it off.
to me it looks more like the back of the knee/ upper calf. like my guess is he ******* severed at least a couple tendons. also as crypticmerle pointed out, one of the spikes breaks off
it's awful but seriously he's a ******* moron for trying that
like the one lighting his back and the guy on the desk
it's just, how do you not have any foresight or I dunno, just an understanding of things
I mean it's not like saying I could get into an accident on this trip if I go for a drive or whatever it's more like they're thinking, i'm going to get in a car and drive it into a wall and then be surprised that it didn't work out
Pretty sure most of these people are ******* morons for doing... pretty much everything their doing in one way or another. I find myself cringing at quite a few of them just yelling WHY?? at the screen. How on earth they predicted a different outcome for the choice of their actions is beyond my level of reasoning.
But the comps are called "stupid is as stupid does" so... Darwinism at its finest.
So this was at a resturant where you cook your own food on an oil burner.
>Couple complain the oil burner is not hot enough.
>Waitress comes over and pours oil straight from the bottle onto an open ******* flame.
>Surprise, it catches fire and the waitress gets minor burns.
>She panics, and throws the ******* bottle towards the couple.
>Waitress then bolts the **** out of there, leaving the man to beat out his own flames then try to extinguish what's left of his partner.
>Woman has severe burns to most of her face.
That waitress needs to go to jail.
well i disagree with she panics and throws the oil at the lady it looks more like the fire ignited the oil in the jug and the pressure change callused oil to shoot like a flame thrower. and we see the jug go fly in the other direction afterwords
To me it looked like the dude back facing the viewer grabbed the pitcher, since it only caught when he lunged. He might have been trying to stop her, and instead of asking he reached for it to 'show off' for his partner or some **** .
For her stupidity, I agree. She should face repercussions. But I can sort of understand her reaction. If I had just accidentally set someone on fire I would probably freak the **** out too. Still no excuse for making such a stupid mistake though.
its a kind of grill that use alcohol to heat up the dish, normally you'd turn off the flame while refilling, and use a smaller container. In this case she use the large bottle for storage, flame catch on fire, pressure inside bottle rise up, shoot alcohol out of bottle, more fire.
It could be insurance fraud. In Russia a lot of people try to commit insurance fraud by making it look like they've been run over, which is why dashcams are all over Russia, to prove you're innocent.
If that's the case then well... uh... I guess he might get that insurance money after all. Should pay for a nice funeral.
I worked construction for a few years and yea they have a little to much force pushing down, but the stupid part is all the debris they left around themselves, if you have a machine that rotates with that much force you need a clear zone so if something does go wrong you can just let go and jump back
hmm... judging by your comment and everyone else's, that one seems to be stupid only if you know about those tools really... But I get it then, it makes sense. And now I know more about the swirly-swirl thing!
I have known people who use those kind of machines with their jobs and such, you are just supposed to push/pull up and down with it, not turn it manually. Turning it makes it much more likely to spin out of control like it did in the video. The people I know said that was literally one of the first safety rules they learned about when using that machine.
I am curious what the "correct" way to do this is. Maybe they were pushing it too hard, like tying to rush it down, instead of letting the tool do the work and slowly eat its way down
The only "stupidity" I see is the wood on the floor around them, maybe it contributed to him not falling gracefully. If he had more places to put his feet he coulda rolled better.
Their mistake was wiggling it. I wouldn't say what they did was the same as stupidity, but they did **** up. Basically what you wanna do is let the machine do all the job, for safety reasons and some efficiency reasons. Too much pressure would stop it, or slow it down a lot. With drills like these, gravity is more than enough.
I've used drills like those before and unless you're drilling into something extremely soft, something like sand or whatever, they wiggle all over the place all by themselves, half the work is fighting it. It most likely got stuck on a large rock or possibly a root. The mistake was not letting go when it happened.
When using a post hole digger like this, you have to bring the machine up and down to remove the material from the blade. Otherwise it builds up to the point where it doesn't move, but the force from the machine can still move itself.
On the one where the guy falls by the pool, look at the spiked fence before he falls and after he falls and you'll notice one is missing and that it is in his leg
thats alcohol being poured into a personal table side grill...she poured too much, the level reached the ignition source, and since the container she was using was way too big and contained equal parts air and fuel, the flame followed the fuel into the container, oce inside the separating molecules in the fuel had no where to go so it quenched the fluid out of the container rapidly and simultaneously was ignited by the ongoing flame outside the container which sprayed on to the unfortunate elderly woman who happened to be sitting directly in its path. shes now covered in a flammable liquid, which is simultaneously burning every inch of her flesh and depriving her of oxygen...in her panic she attempts to use her last bits of breath to crawl away from the flame but unfortunately is probably sucking flammable fluid vapor into her oxygen rich lung and burning the tissue therein, leaving her a very tiny chance of actually surviving this...and even if she were to survive, her entire body will be covered in scar tissue for the rest of her life
