I now realize that the reason Vader grabbed the emperor and killed him at the end of the 6th movie was to atone for making the opposite decision that led him to fully turn dark in episode 3 after helping kill Mace Windu...
Sadly, its feels like its gonna be a copy of a new hope. Its a shame really. Good TCW clip btw. I remember liking it for many reasons. Great music, nice speech and a great Palpatine scene.
Totally agreed. If anything, I think it added a lot more weight and depth to the prequels since it fleshed out the heroes and villains further. I was sad when I heard the show had gotten cancelled, but I guess it had to end eventually.
It did add alot of weight to the prequels. Some people say that Anakin isnt whiny enough (because he was whiny at parts in the prequels) but Anakin in TCW feels like Anakin in Rots before the crashland at coruscant. Happy with some darkside problems. The show will get a few more arcs released as comics or novels, which is nice. I just hope its gonna finish someday.
That was cool!
The similarity of both storylines (Anakin / Luke) are even better displayed if you watch the series in the machete order: www.nomachetejuggling.com/2011/11/11/the-star-wars-saga-suggested-viewing-order/
The guy explains why this order makes sense and he has some good points
Basicly: IV - V - II - III - VI (I is dropped, because it not needed. As a plus: Very little Jar Jar!).
The machete order is good, though its a shame episode 1 isn't a part of it. The Anakin leaves his mother scene makes the scene where his mother dies have bigger impact.
