i have an uncle who's a police officer in colorado and he told me that although it's legal to have marijuana on you, it's illegal to transport marijuana on the highway because highways aren't seen as belonging to the state they're in. the national government owns the roads and since pot isn't nationally legal, you can get arrested for having pot in your car if you're on the highway. just a heads-up for anyone in colorado, since cops are taking advantage of loopholes like that.

Yep.

You're pretty much not allowed to have it anywhere in public or in a vehicle at all, though.

I'd be surprised if it's very frequent for cops to do that. I mean, it's totally speculation, as I live in Oregon and have never been there, but even here (medical marijuana) state cops aren't in a hurry to enforce federal law. The fact that the federal government still hasn't changed its stance on the legalization is starting to grind with states that are trying to change their stance on it. I mean, the Feds have done a little, like passing a congregational bill that basically says they won't raid medical marijuana establishments (as much), but it's just political sidestepping that doesn't help anything.

Some kids should be on weed.
the fact that medical treatment is refused to people because of hysteria and propaganda from half a century ago is just wrong in a society that thinks it has come as far as we clearly have not, im not saying that is why i would want weed legal My personal opinion is that no drug should be illegal, it creates an uncontrolled black market that creates gangs, violence and gets hundreds of thousands of people killed a year, look at the prohibition of alcohol, it gave rise to and funded the mafia until the 1980's, ******* smart let there still be uncontrolled black market substances you dick weeds. Taxes on drugs should pay for hospitals and schools not for gang members to buy guns with. but that does not mean that the fact that people are denied medical treatment that is proven is not deplorable.
