alhemicar, Yes, You can. Turning on a game via steam launcher is nothing more than turning on game with different location. So all you need is just to follow the tutorial from Nexus site, but not uploading it to Steam>game folder, but your "pirated" Skyrim folder (for example "C:/Program Files/The Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim" or where ever you put it.)

Also You need Direct 9, not newer, becouse you will have an error with "missing file"

Two 580Ms in dual-SLI are theoretically equal to a GTX 660Ti, so it should be able to run it. Keep in mind that SLI is subject to diminishing returns, so your FPS will be lower than a 660Ti's, but that's to be expected from mobile chips.

I somewhat disagree with Jakatackka's insinuation that you would be unable to successfully run the ENB. I two GTX 770s and in Skyrim, a game that is as poorly optimized for as Battlefield 4 is -- in general, I achieve around 60-70 FPS with only a single card being utilized.

As for his recommendation to use the LITE textures instead of full 2k, I vehemently agree. The use of larger texture sizes, larger than 2k at least, is very cost ineffective for 1080p gaming. The larger textures will simply lower your FPS while affecting the graphics very little.

As for the amount of VRAM on your 770, 2GB is just fine. While the graphical mods and ENBs will increase the VRAM usage, the 770 is relatively insane for memory bandwidth when compared to most cards. Save for the 780 and Titan, of course.

Modding is primarily a trial and error type of game, so go out there and see if you break something. If you do, just undo what you do and try to find a workaround.

I'll copy-paste skiskate's response:

"With 2GB you have 3 choices

1 Run everything fine except the ENB

2 Use the lite 2K textures and the performance version of the ENB

3 Full ENB but minimal or no 2K textures"

VRAM, or video RAM, is the amount of memory your graphics card can natively use. Unmodded (or "vanilla") Skyrim on Ultra will use about 700mb of VRAM, but most of the listed mods are very high-resolution textures that will just about max out the 2gb of VRAM that card has. ENB is a special mod that adds special post-processing to Skyrim, improving its look considerably (to the point of photorealism), but it is very system-intensive and uses up a lot of VRAM as well. If I were you, unless you're gaming above 1920x1080, I'd go with the lite 2K textures and use the performance ENB preset.

Yeah, mobile gaming solutions tend to run at an ungodly temperature. It's due to the close proximity of the heat-producing elements of a computer and the lack of overall airflow.

Give it a shot, but make sure the GPUs don't get to above 85c.

I can't really give you a modding 101 lesson over funnyjunk so here is my advice. Download the nexus mod manager, that will allow you to download and enable any mods you download from the nexus. ENB's are tough. You have to have some practical knowledge to figure out how to install them correctly. Hell I ****** up the first 2 times trying to get all my mods running.

My recommendation is to go on YouTube and find a tutorial for installing Skyrim mods.

The GTX 760 is quite a bit better than the GTX 660 (the card recommended as a minimum from the ENB's mod author), so it should be able to do relatively well. As for 45 FPS, I'm not entirely certain. On only one of my 770s, the Realvision ENB runs at about 70 FPS, so the 760, being only slightly below the 770 in terms of performance should be able to run at 50 FPS or higher.

It's not very likely that a 7770 could run an ENB at all, really. Sorry to say it, but it's true.

The 7770 would probably explode if you tried to run an ENB.

Start > cmd > skyrim.ram.empower (check how much ram you have!) take atleast 30% of it to run in skyrim. Example: skyrim.ram.empower/500

Start > skyrim > find the folder which is named Addons > Creat new map > name whatever you want > install the mods > extract them > place them in "whatever the name is" >restart your computer > GG > Enjoy!
