I read it is to be 2 times as big, with some insane covenants. I think there is 1 where you can prevent people from progressing in their game, like an objective guard, or worse. I am so ready for this game. Duel wielding is actually possible, not just for looks this time.

The purposes of the covenants are going to be linked to lore, and also I just didn't want to know so I was surprised and happy when I joined one.

I thumbed him up because I'm glad he's getting word and hype out there, and I don't blame him too much for spoiling it, so I hope you can tell I mean no harm, just pointing out that he is spoiling things...

I heard that that cov is called bell guardians or something similar and is supposed to keep you from ringing bells like in the first. I also love that they are balancing magic and bows as viable builds along with dual wielding. From what I saw of beta footage, even fists and greatshields do reasonable damage, They're pushing back so many limits.

Two times as big?
I thought they said this game would take about the same time to finish
Did they go "ah **** it we still got some time let's give them double for their money"?

They never mentioned playtime, and rightly so. It took me 30 hours to beat DS 1 after demons souls. It took a lot of people who didn't play demons souls 70-100 hours. Second playthrough of mine took 12 hours.

The game really doesn't have an average playtime per-say. But they did say the world would be about the same size, but about twice as densely populated with content.

Even though you are wrong about dark souls not being a good game, south park actually is a really solid game, a lot of depth to the combat (How you can have pretty damn good synergy with the armor/weapon patches) and story is really entertaining, it feels like an actual south park episode

South park is funny, i'll give you that. But the game was way too easy, and there wasn't really much variety in combat to keep that aspect as funny as the rest of the game.

Overall, i'd give it a 7.5.

Depends on what you wield in that off-hand. I use the Spiked Shield to attack with quite a lot in PvP, though obviously I block with it just a bit more often than I attack with it. There's also an awesome video of somebody using the greataxe in their off-hand and the Golem Axe in their main hand to keep their opponent guessing and make the Golem Axe's blast wave more of a surprise. I wish I could find it.

shield doesnt count as dual wielding.,

also in dark souls the off hand weapon only had one function(two if you could parry with the weapon) and that was either block( for everything bigger than a dagger) or a slice (daggers) outside of that there wasnt any use for dual wielding

A shield that attacks, like the Spiked Shield and Pierce Shield, certainly counts as dual-wielding. You're wielding two things that function as weapons. And, clearly, you didn't test this theory of yours very thoroughly, given that most weapon that don't parry had an attack when used in the off-hand. Also, the dagger and most dagger-like weapons had a parry when used in the off-hand. Did you never press L2/Left Trigger while dual-wielding?
