Loved that game. You prove you aren't a murderer by slaughtering everyone.
User avatar #4 to #3 - meringueluka ONLINE (07/25/2015) [-]
only if you ******* suck!
#5 to #4 - mallorea ONLINE (07/25/2015) [-]
Or if, ya know, you like slaughtering everyone.
User avatar #30 to #5 - northleech (07/26/2015) [-]
That's like saying Hitman is a game about a mass murderer because you can beat the game that way.
User avatar #60 to #30 - steamtrolled (07/26/2015) [-]
Hitman is a game designed for players to get off to slaughtering women and dragging around their bodies, manipulating their corpses for your own twisted pleasures. Don't you know anything?

Welp, I'm going to go play Black Flag again.
User avatar #43 to #21 - miscreant (07/26/2015) [-]
I strongly recommend Rogue if you like the series in general (especially the fourth one). It was relatively short and to the point, but goddamn, it knew what it was and it played it off well.
User avatar #70 to #43 - altairibnlaahad (07/26/2015) [-]
Yeah, I play on PC, and Rouge didn't come out until like January, so I played through Unity and completely forgot about Rogue until it came out.
User avatar #71 to #70 - miscreant (07/26/2015) [-]
Same here, except by the time it came out on PC I bought it for my Xbox. I could stand the 30 FPS (barely) in exchange for it being a quarter of the PC price. So ******* worth. So did you play it or not?
User avatar #72 to #71 - altairibnlaahad (07/26/2015) [-]
No, I haven't. Yet.

It's always been a dream of mine to go to an Irish pub, grab some beer or ale and get the whole pub to sing some old school sailing songs
#57 to #8 - robobabe (07/26/2015) [-]
Im in a sport called Dagorhir, at Ragnarok we have a thing called the tilted tavern, and if you tip the bartenders, they sometimes sing, causing others to sing, which leads to ~50 people to be drunk and singing their hearts out, with shanties being a favourite. Its as awesome as you think it is to be drunk and singing to these.
#9 to #8 - anon (07/25/2015) [-]
Hit me up when you're up for it. We'll meet in a pub there

not gonna comment
never been to ireland or spken to anyone even loosely associated with the real IRA

but I can say where I grew up there was a good deal of "nah, they should've been left in peace" irish sympathy
User avatar #13 to #12 - novels ONLINE (07/25/2015) [-]
It's a mess, but I have no sympathy for the Real IRA, or RIRA. They do **** all anymore but make a bad name for us. They had goals once, but not these retards. I'm proud of my city and my country, but England can't leave anything alone mate.
User avatar #14 to #13 - captainprincess (07/25/2015) [-]
Wait
They're still a thing?
User avatar #15 to #14 - novels ONLINE (07/25/2015) [-]
Oh yeah, they don't do much but smuggle guns and terrorise Catholics like a bunch of ******* hypocrites, they operate in my area, and the surrounding areas.

Damn I love that song, we used to sing it at our camps with the Georgspfadfinder (Boy scouts of St. George)

You just gave me a serious moment of nostalgia, thanks for that : )
User avatar #32 to #31 - captainprincess (07/26/2015) [-]

I happened across a cd of "40 best irish drinking songs" by a Cu Chulainn and this is one of the better tracks on there is all

In my time at the Luftwaffe we once had this joint military exercise with the Bundesmarine and some sailors taught us this song.

Also check out the Playlist, its full of Shanties and Soldiers Songs.

What happened to "Put him in the bilge and make him drink it"? =/
User avatar #59 to #50 - octagon (07/26/2015) [-]
There's also "slit his throat with a rusty cleaver"

I think this is just one of those songs where you make up verses around the circle then you finish it with "thats what we do with a drunken sailor"

Man, this music was like the theme to my childhood. I watched Treasure Island (the one with Christian Bale as Jim Hawkins) so damn much. My family'd go to the outer banks and beaches, flying pirate flags. Good times.
