What are the chances they'll go the Attack on Titan route?

Insanely popular, tons of interest in continuing the anime, only for them to drag their feet and completely stop production for years without any word on what was actually happening.

The manga popularity picked up when the anime was over, and dropped off after it turned into a political thriller. It's still popular, but not now nor at its peek was it as popular or good as OPM.
