so iron man is a brain that rides in side a suit that rides inside another suit.
User avatar #125 to #29 - pseudobob **User deleted account** (10/10/2013) [-]
I will never accept this statement as true.

Your brain is only the control circuit of a far more complex and interconnected system that is your body. And as far as we can prove scientifically, there's not much more of a person than a body. Granted if you lose an arm you are not suddenly a totally different person, but it does make you a person with one less arm and that means something.

I consider the "this is everything you are" a statement of solopsism, which means I consider it wrong.

If only we had weapons built in and hidden under a few centimeters of steel armor instead of skin...
User avatar #181 to #61 - spizin (10/10/2013) [-]
Imagine going 1 on 1 with, let's say, a wolf. It can kick your ass easily, but if you're fast enough you can punch it in the face, shoot him in the face with a gun (if you have one), slice him up with a retractible sword and blast it's ass off with rocket launchers coming out of your chest, tadaa, you're living the dream
User avatar #203 to #181 - matexius (10/10/2013) [-]
Well, more or less.
Having the armor stuff might be kindof useful against a wolf or something. Atleast, if it was retractable, kinda like the Human torch only instead of being engulfed in flames, some organic shell comes out of various places on your body, which then covers most of your skin. And sure, the guns and rocket launchers would be awesome, but you'd be more of a cyborg than a human; they would have to be weapons that are biological, like acid or bone blades, basically like a Zerg.
#183 to #181 - anon (10/10/2013) [-]
Humans can kill a wolf one on one pretty easily. I'm not saying it won't hurt you, but it can pretty much just attack with it's face while you out-mass it and have four ways to attack. The problem with wolves is that it won't be one on one.

dont know the truthfullness of it, but there was a documentary that pointed to the "bodies exhibit" being made from bodies of people who were murdered, for that purpose. i think they are from china. not sure though.

You are/were probably thumb banned. Have you voted up "anything resembling sexual content, close ups of genitalia, breasts, sexy pics, etc."?
User avatar #209 to #207 - raamageddon (10/10/2013) [-]
Can't say that I have. I was one of the dickhats flagging and red-thumbing that stuff for the longest time before I just started rolling my eyes at it and moving on.

I rarely post pictures at all unless I have one that I feel is extremely relevant. More often than not, I just comment. Usually not even on the content, just as replies to other people, like this.

That's why I'm confused about it. I can't think of any reason why I would be.
#213 to #209 - vgmddg ONLINE (10/10/2013) [-]
Yeah, I have a whole bunch of thumb violations in my inbox. It's good that at least now I get a message that I violated something, but I don't even know what comments I'm getting dinged on. I think I was thumb-banned for a short period of time a couple days ago.
User avatar #215 to #213 - raamageddon (10/10/2013) [-]
I don't have so much as a single notification of that nature in my inbox. Just the warning that says don't thumb the stuff up, and the ad for moderators.

This bothers me greatly.
User avatar #216 to #215 - vgmddg ONLINE (10/10/2013) [-]

Try reporting the issue here. If you get an error trying to submit it saying "Your are banned.", then yeah, it's a t-ban. There's not much you can do then except to
1.) Wait and see if it's on a time limit.
2.) Try to get in contact with Admin about it somehow.
3.) While you're waiting have some fun with it.
See this. --> www.funnyjunk.com/funny_pictures/4760506/Jesus/75#75

I found out that while you're T-banned you can continually thumb up the content (to you at least) to much larger numbers. Used that to make this pic.
User avatar #239 to #220 - raamageddon (10/11/2013) [-]
Well. All this time later and it's still the same way, so I suppose that brings me to the next step in the process.

How, exactly, do I go about reporting this as an issue?
User avatar #240 to #239 - vgmddg ONLINE (10/11/2013) [-]
Did you try reporting it as a bug at www.funnyjunk.com/report_bugs/ ?
If you did and it still does the "Your are banned." thing, then you could try using the Contact Us button (link is www.funnyjunk.com/contact/ ), but I don't think you can depend on that at all. The only other thing is if you can get a hold of ADMIN or PHANACT or something and ask them in person why you're banned.
User avatar #241 to #240 - raamageddon (10/12/2013) [-]
Yeah. Apparently I'm banned. That's... Pretty neat, seeing as I don't know why.

I guess I ought to try n' find out why, eh?
