I am very curious to the results of this test. Better it be sheep than humans

There really isn't much of a difference between science and hillbilly hoopla anymore, is there?

"Let's meth up the sheep and see what happens when we zap it! hyuk!"

I'm not some big animal right peta person for the most part, but I am against test like this. A sheep is a useful animal throughout its life via wool, and who cares i it caused death? They were violent meth addicts, let's use them to test stuff, they're less useful and more harmful than sheep

That's a gross miscalculation of usefulness. A study like this, while you may deem it inhumane, could help save the lives of many on meth who would then go to rehab and become productive members of society. Now do you consider a productive member of society worth less than a sheep?

No, but in my experience with drug addicts, very few become productive members of society. Most that quit one drug turn to another after rehab. Both my parents became crack addicts, both turned to other drugs after rehab, both are literal burdens on society. I've seen so many people become some kind f addict and none has done the good to make up for it or t become productive members of society. I know there are a few out there, but they seem few and far between. Admittedly though, I am biased against addicts from my closer experiences

Remember the movie "The men who stare at goats"? The US army used to do lots of cruel things to dogs, ducks, and other animals, usually killing them.

eh... it's slightly better than when the Soviets got a pig drunk on wine and sent it into space.
User avatar #33 to #13 - unlithe (11/08/2013) [-]
NOTHING is better that sending a drunk pig into outer space. at least the pig wasnt tased. plus holy **** i would pay to see a drunk pig temporarily shot into space.

not that human testing would actually be more effective
User avatar #10 to #9 - tenthdivine ONLINE (10/28/2013) [-]
I feel I should clear up any confusion, I'm not downing animal testing. I just saw an opportunity to post this comical image. I actually wrote a paper in college over the benefits of animal testing!

A better question is. Suppose that it does, what do we do? Go back to shooting them?
