Don't think of it as 8 days straight, break it down and take it a day at a time, a shift at a time and try entertain yourself at work.

I feel for you. I couldn't even handle 1 job with 40-48 hours/week and 12+ hours/week of classes. Got revoked of my Financial Aid.

I know it sucks. My mom has 3 jobs, two of witch is cleaning up one pub(has to be done till 7) and a restaurant (done till 12). Third job is dishwashing. She can be called at anytime but usally its fixed schedule. Today she beganat 10 with dishwashing and will be working until 11pm. Just so she can support the family ( 2 sons, me, 20yo and brother 31 hes helping with the money )

So I can sort of know your pain

I've worked every saturday this month. Coming in to an empty office, sitting at my desk... yeah it's kinda like that.

Unless you're working in the food industry on a saturday. Then you're dreading it because it's the busiest part of the week.

Except this week I got saturday off so I could go to a convention.
User avatar #47 to #43 - thisistheguy (08/05/2014) [-]
Saturdays ******* suck on the weekends you go from a 6-8 hour shift to a 10 1/2 hour shift and you're busy the whole ******* time

As someone who works 14 hours on Saturdays for over a month now I have to say that's an accurate representation. You look at the clock every 10 minutes and hope that it is closing time.

I meet in at 4:30 AM and leave at 10-12 AM, the weekends are the shortest days for me.
#42 - killthemjuice (08/05/2014) [-]
I often work weekends (hotel). If you are free on "normal work days" its much more fun. Everyone's gotta work, the city is relaxing empty, you can get groceries and shopping stuff without having full malls.
