And Giffindor has never won the battle of the houses without some ******** extra points from their absoluttley not corrupted headmaster

I'm pretty sure saving the world from destruction is not ********
#34 to #8 - jakatackka (08/12/2014) [-]
The ***** saved hundreds of lives every year because the teachers were too busy or too incompetent to not ******* hire Voldemort or his minions. Damn right he deserves some magic points.

I'm still pretty sure that Dumbledore was just ******* around, he knew what was going on, he just really wanted griffindor to win, so he sent those kids to fix the problems just so he could have griffindor win again!

All I'm saying is, if he was so unaware of the situation, why did he send his Phoenix with a frikkin sword to find Harry Potter?

New students from the Gryffindor house save the school from a troll with damage only to the bathroom, not even counting how many lives they possibly saved by stopping the troll then and there. But noooooo, Slytherine should've won because they had 10 more points because someone answered a potion question correctly? You don't think that saving the ******* school is worth a little more than a potion? Yeah, suck my cock.

The kids should get rewards for nearly dying and doing a professors job? The only ******** points at the end are because: the chess game-Ron, those weed things-Hermonie, harry-fighting the professor or whatever. The ******** is that harry got 10 more points than ron and hermonie, making it a tie. Then giving neville 10 points for "standing up to his friends" which they lol at his face and push him aside. Dumbledore is bias towards gryffindor because of potter
#49 to #44 - Rascal (08/12/2014) [-]
those traps are placed to ward off better wizards than them......older wizards. imagine Ron, beating a pro chess player, thats impressive. Hermione actually calm enough to face the vine-thingy and Harry, not every1 can stand infront of the mirror and not think of themselves. and remember they are all 12 years old. u'd **** ur pants if u had to face what they faced. thats why they are gryfindor though, courage.
though neville did get BS points,he still sorta did what he thought was right.
so, yea dumbledore is biased ...towards ppl who have good merits.

Gryffindor students are known for their bravery. So, yes, even though they risked their lives, they should get points. Also, they're not getting the points for doing a professor's job, they're getting points for being able to do a professor's job just as well as one of the professor's would have done it, if not better. You can't say that for most of the other students in their year.
#46 to #45 - ohemgeezus (08/12/2014) [-]
because they're main characters
User avatar #47 to #46 - toosexyforyou (08/12/2014) [-]
Right so the main characters are the ones we've been told about. Maybe the Ravenclaw students have been doing some awesome stuff but we don't know because it has been irrelevant to the story.

Why did he then wait untill the last day at school to give those points?

Dumbledore? more like Dumble-Big-Ass-Douche-Who-Let's-The-Wrong-house-celebrate-their-victory-before-g oing-all-"heyhey guys, lol JK you loose"
User avatar #28 to #27 - toosexyforyou (08/12/2014) [-]
The author of the series wanted a dramatic victory, so what? The points were earned by Gryffindor fair and square. You don't see the other houses booing after Gryffindor is announced the winner, they're all cheering.
User avatar #31 to #28 - froggets (08/12/2014) [-]
Of course, they all know what happens to the ones that boos probably gets whacked with a little Cruciatus Curse before having to throw up slugs for an hour or two

Plenty of characters publicly voice their hate for other houses.
User avatar #35 to #32 - froggets (08/12/2014) [-]
And we all know what happened to them, they just disappeared... or got you know... eaten by a big ******* snake... made out of fire!!!!!
User avatar #42 to #35 - toosexyforyou (08/12/2014) [-]
Who? Definitely not because of their comments about other houses.

Because all the points Snape took from Gryffindor were completely fair

Yeah, I'm sure that during the 1000+ years of Hogwarts educating young witches and wizards, not once has Gryffindor won the House Cup fairly.
