Working part time at Wal-Mart really makes me sad for my community. This lady got so mad yesterday when we did not have something she was looking for. Apparently it is my fault.

"What?! It's in the catalog I received in the mail three months ago, why don't you have it in the store right now?! Oh you only have this item online? Well why isn't it in the store? You clearly have it, why not just put it out on the floor?! I get that you just unload the trucks and then put the stuff out on the floor, but it's your fault that this item costs too much and that you don't have it in stores."

After 8 years in retail, I'm convinced that you're too stupid to understand most questions and blame the customer.

So when a customer asks, how much does this cost and their is a giant 2 for $1.50 on the item, it isn't a stupid question?
User avatar #4 to #2 - tittylovin (11/24/2013) [-]
Not really. What if they just want one?

some places will just charge 75 cents then. the grocery store i work at will
User avatar #7 to #6 - tittylovin (11/24/2013) [-]
Some places won't, sometimes it's only a couple of cents more to get two. It's a legitimate question, but the employees will ALWAYS give you that look, as if their store policy is the only one.

So when a customer brings you a 2 pack of something and asks if they can open it and only buy one, and you say "we do sell them in singles" and they reply "I don't want a single, I want half this dual pack, I only want one" and no matter how much you try and explain it, they can't seem to understand that buying a single item gives them 1, so does buying half a dual pack, and the're not allowed to open it and buy one...

I don't really know how to end that sentence. People are retarded

There are no stupid questions, only stupid people.
