I think that is a given if you work in a liquor store. My cousin worked in one back in Russia and he has some ****** up stories.....

the skinny of it is people taking advantage of kindness. Our policy was to take expired coupons no matter what and I had customers come up to me and say "oh you have to take this because your company says so and there's not a damn thing you can do about it." that is only the tip of the iceberg

I could write a whole novel but let me give you some skinny. 1. I worked a black friday when a popular video game was going on sale. These games where kept in a cate for obvious reasons. I had to unlock and hand them out individually which resulted in me getting bruised scratched, and bumped.
2. Had a lady return a shirt that was not only 5 years old but smelled of something I don't want to try to put an adjective on. She had the tags on it, and she had the receipt. Due to store policy I had to accept it and give her the full amount she paid for it. If I had a nickle for every time this happened I'd be one rich bitch.
3. Since I'm a certified jeweler I spent 85% of my time at said counter and had to deal with people trying to even exchange cheap fake ass rings for real diamond rings. Even when I'd calmly explain to them that what they were showing me was obviously not a diamond It was almost always cubic zirconia which is made to look exactly like a diamond but is not and would say I was being rude and treating them awful because of this. Every time a customer tried to rob us blind like this the manager would say "do it anyway, yes we can policy" I just about teared my hair out each time customers would trade cheap **** for high priced gems.......I need to stop now......getting a migraine....bad memories.....shell shock....

Yeah **** that. Somehow every story like this makes me hate customers just a little bit more.
