There are a couple of good Zues Servers (I like the official servers, tend to have the best crowd, plus they are stable). Look a bit on the internet, check some arma forums, groups like this, realism groups are always looking for more guys.

greyhoundfd (12/31/2015) [-] Well I did spend 5 minutes going through servers, I've actually probably spent a lot more because I've played ArmA 2 and I was really looking forward to having some fun in this one, but the only servers I could find that were actually combat were completely unpopulated.

thelastpaco (12/31/2015) [-] Check out king of the hill, just about always servers upwards of 80, infantry if combined arms. Its good for just screwing around and fighting. You can get a squad together and go tactically, or you can just **** around.

thelastpaco (12/31/2015) [-] Yeah, honestly I love this game. Until arma 3 came out I was pretty much always playing A2. I might switch to a new game for a while, but I always came back to A2, now its A3, and has been for a long time.

Other than the weapons and vehicles ArmA3 is much better than ArmA2, I mean sure, they are both desync-y pieces of crap. But ArmA3 is less so. But like I said, there are mods that bring over all the stuff that ArmA2 has, so basically you get ArmA3's better gameplay with ArmA2's better content. I just wish these games didnt run like ass.

reaperriley ONLINE (12/31/2015) [-] I moved to ArmA3 about 5 months after the offical lauch of ArmA3. At first most of the basic servers I liked were on ArmA2, but by the time ArmA3's mission files were fully fleshed out they were at the level of the ArmA2's mission files and **** . Now that ACE, ACER, and all the other mods are stable and **** there is no reason to play on ArmA2 for me anymore.
I would suggest getting ArmA3 right now on discount. What Im trying to say is ArmA3 came out back in 2013, and its almost to the levels as far as ArmA2 was in terms of content. I mean **** , its going to be a while till BIS gets their **** together and shoves all the stuff from ArmA2 into ArmA3 offically. But as far as communities, mods, and servers go, its already far past what ArmA2 was at.
