If I had lost my soul to agility I'd have quit at like 100 lower total, and also not gotten 90 agility on my Ironman afterwards.
I was going for max total, but I tried Ironman for a bit and got too addicted to it. I still wanted to, but I was enjoying the ironman a lot more, so it didn't really make sense to continue my main at that point.
Depends on how early you are in the game, and what you define as a newb? But it never hurts to get high agility and full graceful early, then do as many quests as possible for XP and various benefits. Achievement diaries too.
For easy money without any serious requirements, get hunter to at least 63 (though preferrably 70-80) and hunt red chinchompas, they're over 1.5K each (used to be 400-600 in 2013), and eventually you can make well over 700K GP worth per hour.
that's nice. The way I made money was to pickpocket the "H.A.M" members in the level 15 HAM member KKK meeting place near the starting town. I could typically get a secret treasure map level 1 or 2 from them every 30 minutes, which turned into a page of Zammy/Saro/Guthix, which would sell well when made into a book.
Clue scrolls aren't too bad either, especially if you get a zammy page. But in the long run it's best with hunter or runecrafting for the stable income.
very jealous of 85 mining. Im getting there on RS3 aka pleb tier normie shiet but I just cant bring myself to play OSRS. I have been coddled by jagex into playing the **** armor redos and the new ******* abilities **** YOU JAGEX. I DONT WANT TO START A NEW ACCOUNT ON OLD SCHOOL WHY WONT YOU LET ME PORT MY ACCOUNT YOU PIG ******* . Rant over but jagex is the EA and DICE of PC MMORPG
I'm gonna get thieving, hunter, and fishing to 99 soon. Then after I've done the ardy elite diaries I'll do agility aswell, and maybe mining when I get a d pick.
Depends a bit if you're ironman or not, but I'm gonna assume no since you've got a smoke battlestaff? Still pretty dank with 99 woodcutting, though I'd get farming, construction, herblore and runecrafting up if I were you. (It's just my preference, I don't like having low noncombat skills)
I've mainly done skilling on this Ironman account, and lots more to do before I continue slayer and bossing (just barely done a bit of barrows so far). I've got a few more mills in kingdom, and I'll be making even more from 99 thieving (blackjacking) and more crafting and alching.
In the long run I'm going for all the elite achivement diaries, 2000+ total, and eventually maxing if I have lots of time to play in the next year or two.
I've been trying to avoid skills that I can't get up without a profit or atleast no loss, which is why they've been so low. Not an ironman though, I play with my brother and some friends and I bought them the staff so they could use it, and they sent it back to me when they were done.
I definitely will be getting them up soon though, I want that level 1500 total.
Also Current bank for me is 48.9m ,with about 10 mil on my persons.
Holy **** dragon plate legs/chain has crashed in price. fml
Well, construction is expensive but mostly just in the long run. It's definitely worth getting it at least to 50 so you can get a glory and portals in your house, and it doesn't cost too much.
Runecrafting is good money if you make natures or double cosmics, so get on that. Also helps to have high agility. Farming certain herbs is really profitable too, and just use any seeds you get like allotments, trees, and fruit trees, they're good xp.
Yea, I had been planning on getting const to 50 and even started, but haven't done the run in a bit. Started combat to 70 ea for barrows and then ill prolly do it.
If you're doing a lot of barrows, also look into the Morytania hard diaries. With the tier 3 legs you get infinite teleports to Burgh de Rott which is right nearby. Otherwise a house tab and a kharyll (Canifis) portal is really good to have aswell.
But if you have the supplies to do really long lasting trips, you can do with the shades of mort'ton minigame teleport too.
Now... I have a question.... Seeing that it takes from 97 to 99 as long as 1 - 96 did... How the bloody god did you have the patience to go all the way to 113!??! (Mad props to you, I could never do that. In fact, I never had a skill above 80 I think)
I just don't like RS3, I feel as if they made it too much like WoW, I dunno. I especially hated that wheel of fortune ******** that you had a chance to get 200M by spending real $$$. It's not terrible and has much more content than OSRS but I definitely prefer OSRS, mostly for nostalgic purposes. Also, nice maxed account on RS3, bro.
Thanks. I hate the wheel too, although it is called treasure hunter now. They have made it less beneficial but there is still definitely a pay to win aspect to it. The only reason I still play it really is because I am so far into it.
People complain about smithing being hard to do on an ironman, all I gotta do is just chill at motherlode mine. I've already got the ores for 85 or so.
And barbarian fishing to get agility and strength xp early on, best thing I ever did.
It's not exactly AFK, but the easiest and most relaxing method is definitely motherlode mine. It's not amazing XP (20-30K an hour with a rune or dragon pickaxe if you're lvl 60-90 or so), but you get a ton of good ores which are either useful if you're an ironman, or make good profit selling if you're a regular account.
I'm considering testing out mining gold only (at the "horseshoe" mine in brimhaven, going via fairy rings and the magic flute from the holy grail quest), though I'm not sure if it'll be as good.
how long does that take... Im at 75 mining right now getting to 85 to mine runite which I hear is the best money making strat for F2p (cost/risk ratio analysis). I understand that PK has way more potential gainz and is alot more fun than mining but there are virtually no costs to mining other than a pick axe and tele runes or tabs if you lazy (lodestones are breddy gud) and no risk unless you think you cant hack a few wildy monsters. Please tell me F2p best strat for 75-85 mining in 6 months.
I miss the carefree days of being 10 and playing runescane with friends when I got home from school. I got the runescane handbook as a gift at one point.
Back when i didn't know **** about the game me and my friend made our own quest "first person to kill the vampire wins" but what happened was we didn't know he was for a quest and couldn't be killed i literally found that out recently
Yeah, some dude found a way to glitch out of player owned houses in the combat ring, was pking people out of wilderness.
His name was Durial123, it was legendary
Basically a glitch / bug exploit that let one guy attack other players where you normally shouldnt. So a bunch of people freaked out and it caused a panic as he went on a rampage.
Oh man, that handbook takes me back. I even remember scraping money together to buy it at a school book-fair. I think I still have it somewhere
Outdated as **** but the nostalgia too dank
