What about you?
User avatar #12 to #10 - Sunburn (01/02/2014) [-]
I, personally, don't smoke marijuana. I tried it and it wasn't for me. I prefer to drink while bowling.
User avatar #13 to #12 - duvallwhitey ONLINE (01/02/2014) [-]
Ive had Marydoyouwanna a few times, and the last couple times, the paranoia was too much for me to enjoy the high. I also prefer to drink.
User avatar #14 to #13 - Sunburn (01/02/2014) [-]
Should try to drink while bowling. When you get good enough, the people to the side of you get pissed at you for doing better sideways than they do sober.
User avatar #16 to #14 - duvallwhitey ONLINE (01/02/2014) [-]
Alright.
Heck, I should drink while doing other sports, like golf or hunting.
User avatar #17 to #16 - Sunburn (01/02/2014) [-]
As long as you don't do a Dick Cheyney.

Just curious. How much do they need to pay for an 1/8th over there now that it's full on legal?
User avatar #25 to #3 - daffyduckyo (01/02/2014) [-]
Living close to the Dutch border and you can get really good stuff there for €12 a gram, which is about $16. The lower quality weed starts at about half the price of that. It is cheaper than buying it illegaly here in Germany and you always know what you get.
#7 to #3 - drows (01/02/2014) [-]
I think it was something like 11 to 16 a gram.
User avatar #8 to #7 - szymonf (01/02/2014) [-]
wow, I expected legal pot to be WAY more then that...
#9 to #8 - drows (01/02/2014) [-]
They also said something about 25 % of taxes.

So this price must be prior to that taxe.
User avatar #21 to #8 - merfmerf (01/02/2014) [-]
Well, illegal in norway costs 32 - 40... Depends on the quiality
User avatar #26 to #21 - szymonf (01/02/2014) [-]
korona, euro or US dollars?
User avatar #27 to #26 - merfmerf (01/02/2014) [-]
hahaha, "Korona"? It's kroner
And it is US dollars at current rate as of today
User avatar #28 to #27 - szymonf (01/02/2014) [-]
lol, I feel stupid.
In Canada, street price is like $10
User avatar #29 to #28 - merfmerf (01/02/2014) [-]
Holy **** , even though we have alot of money, doesen't mean 40 us dollar ain't much
User avatar #31 to #29 - szymonf (01/02/2014) [-]
Ya ,$40 is expensive. The only reasons I could think of for the high price of pot in Norway would be high electricity or very low use.
#44 to #31 - meinneger (01/03/2014) [-]
It's about $20 for a gram her in the UK, but seeing as that's £10, we don't see that as much.

As my stateside friend once told me, "Europe is where the American Dollar goes to die."
User avatar #61 to #44 - szymonf (01/03/2014) [-]
If it were 1998 then I would say that is the farthest from the truth.
User avatar #32 to #31 - merfmerf (01/02/2014) [-]
Well it's so not socially acceptable, so very low use, and also since everything here costs so much, the dealers need money for everything, hence low use, so everyone is far apart
User avatar #33 to #32 - szymonf (01/02/2014) [-]
That explains it. In Canada, if you have never tried weed by the time you graduate post-secondary education, then you are an extreme minority.
User avatar #35 to #33 - merfmerf (01/02/2014) [-]
Well not here! If you have you're a selfish asshole and you are just as worse as a heroin addict, seriously i've been told by a former girlfriend when she found out that i had tried it a couple of times.
User avatar #38 to #35 - szymonf (01/02/2014) [-]
And I just realized not everyone might understand the joke that lies underneath that comment
User avatar #37 to #35 - szymonf (01/02/2014) [-]
Well, you know, here on God's green earth we just like to let people live their lives and do what they wanna do.
User avatar #39 to #37 - merfmerf (01/02/2014) [-]
Well, everything except drugs is accepted, we have an exrtemely acceptable and friendly enviroment, there's almost no bullying and so on, but weed, nah, oh god no
#59 - holyfool (01/03/2014) [-]

#19 - madhattergirl (01/02/2014) [-]
Only not really. Jobs here still do drug testing since it's still illegal on a federal level.

then it cant be legal on the state level.... states can't supersede the government. Somethings not right here

correct me if I'm wrong, please
User avatar #23 to #20 - madhattergirl (01/02/2014) [-]
I work for a company based out of state so I'm not going to raise their suspicions by asking about the legality of drug testing
User avatar #24 to #23 - thebaseballexpert (01/02/2014) [-]
not on the job thing. The marijuana being legal thing. If its illegal on the federal level, then the states cant say, **** you, we made it legal
User avatar #36 to #24 - jacklane (01/02/2014) [-]
I'm going to go ahead and say that you are wrong, purely because that just happened.
User avatar #30 to #24 - madhattergirl (01/02/2014) [-]
From what I've heard, it's iffy right now. Some places can ban it (like concealed carry) and I think you can't buy or sell it outside a proper dispensary. I haven't looked into it much since I can't smoke it.
#48 to #20 - UnoSkullmanx (01/03/2014) [-]
they can't normally; the federal government hasn't challenged them on it yet for whatever reason. You're right, colorado has no legal leg to stand on with legalizing pot.
User avatar #46 to #20 - andriod (01/03/2014) [-]
It isn't legal. Colorado police can no longer arrest people for using it but any federal official can still arrest anyone and lock them up. Even store owners who have state licenses.
User avatar #47 - andriod (01/03/2014) [-]
This is sad.
