I believe it was armor that they hunted in. A bear wouldn't want to keep on hitting them if it hurts them (spikes).

My bad, i thought it could have been a joke but there are people that stupid on FJ...

It also looks like a good thing to wear in case of zombie outbreak
User avatar #71 to #70 - winiacz (04/09/2014) [-]
I think that would depend on the type of a zombie outbreak. If any contact with blood of an infected would cause infection, it would suck. Also, it's most likely heavy, so you'd end up surrounded by a horde of zombies, which would hit you splashing their infected blood all over you. 2/10, would not opearate.
User avatar #76 to #71 - futeko (04/09/2014) [-]
The most "standard" zombie outbreak you can have is a disease transmitted by bites (like rabies), so blood splashes would be relatively safe (else you can count out all sorts of melee weapons, which would make it that much harder to survive).

Made me think of those cactus aliens from Doctor Who.

I noticed that you made the background invisible. I believe you did this to match FJ's color scheme. Unfortunately this means you cannot expand the image without making the white text impossible to discern from the background. Not really necessary, as you did a good job with the text size, but for future reference: fj's background hex is 191919

well what the **** are you going to do about it? Ban him?

or if you are using a program that doesn't use hex colors (like paint) then set the custom color to hue: 160, sat: 0, lum: 24, red: 26, blue: 26, green: 26

Or, since fj's background could change by a few digits, make the text highlighted instead.
or do both.

either way, good content. +1

I think (Not entirely sure) He's talking about the Chevy Nova which I think also had the name Chevy II quite early on. I'm not an expert when it comes to Novas though.

Actually, he dissapeared shortly afterwards and was never seen again. Seriously, just up and gone, no one with any idea where he is. Research it.

Those two prisoners are one of the big reasons we have fingerprint analysis in forensics today.
There used to be the Bertillonage system of measuring a person's body parts to profile them in the criminal system. "It is odd, considering the odds against it, that in 1903 this very thing happened – and in very close proximity. Two different persons were found to possess the exact same measurements (factors of human error taken into account), both of whom were inmates at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas."

Why is that ketchup commercial sexist? Truth is most women are physically weaker then men. It's a fact, and Heinz thought about them and wanted them to have equality in bottle-opening skills.
User avatar #80 to #64 - pedokuma (04/10/2014) [-]
That was an ad in 1953. It was sexist.
User avatar #87 to #64 - whereisaname (05/05/2014) [-]
Though your right,it's still pretty sexist.
