Why did the nerd go to GameStop?

Because the corporations built a new structure in it's territory, damaging the mall layout and forcing it to go through high traffic areas to reach the food court.

Is this anti-joke day or something? 3rd such post I've seen so far...

Not everyone who gives a **** about animals is a Vegan. I've eaten Gator for ***** sake.
Also, on a related topic what's the strangest meat you've eaten?
User avatar #43 to #27 - daentraya (11/03/2013) [-]
Once i ate a mcdonalds cheeseburger, and the meat was quite peculiar. I'm not quite sure what's in it, but it was unlike anything i had ever had the displeasure of putting in my mouth

I'm not a vegan and I'm very opposed to environmental destruction, it is a matter of having a perspective that takes into account the consequence of our actions. I think it's kind of disgusting that caring for other animals and their pain and distress is something to be laughed at. A deer's physical pain is no different than a human's.

Well see maybe the deer should have thought of that before deciding to build his flat on the wrong side of the road.
User avatar #14 - makedonski (11/03/2013) [-]
Why doesn't it just stay at its feeding zone, then? Then it won't leave the feeding zone and in turn it won't cross roads to return to the feeding zone.
#22 to #14 - nuciferatu (11/03/2013) [-]
Because animals need more than just feeding, and they can't find them all in the same place. The water hole can be on a different side than the feeding zone, not to mention feeding zones change with the seasons so it might be on one side during spring and another during autumn.

**** the deer, we are the dominant species, if other species suffer because of that maybe they should evolve more.
User avatar #42 to #4 - daentraya (11/03/2013) [-]
It takes time to evolve, which is a shame, since i want big predators back. We've taken them all out. No more walking in the forest at nighttime, and being worried by the distant sound of wolves howling. The largest predator we have in Denmark is like, i dunno, a badger or whatever. Wildlife is boring now
User avatar #32 to #4 - jukuku (11/03/2013) [-]
"Maybe they should evolve more."

The filth coming out of your mouth smells from here. This is EXACTLY the issue with human society, a misplaced sense of superiority. We march to our own oblivion with a false sense of pride and a smug smile on our face. We have this delusion that we are better, special and that we a re somehow going to void the laws of nature to our favor, the truth is much worse. Our environmental destruction is costing s millions of lives every year. The cost to human life because of something as simple as not caring about a raven population in India. They used an anti-biotic that killed the ravens, with all the rotting meat around, the wild dog population exploded, they calculate around 50 000- 100 000 people died because of it, costing the Indian economy billions, though I find the loss of life to be the greater toll. What I'm trying to say is that environmentalism, is humanism. We live in an ecosystem and our actions have ripple effects and just about everything we do comes back to us in some way or another, we'd be wise to consider the consequences of our industrial rampage through the Earth. I wonder how many people died of cancer because of human actions that harmed the environment?
User avatar #48 to #32 - jabadagriffins (11/03/2013) [-]
That is your opinion, in my opinion what is wrong with society is wankers like you wanting to save the pandas and the rain forest.
news flash pandas are ******* retarded, there is a reason they are endangered and that is because they evolved to live in a specific environment which was unsustainable, even without people pandas could have been wiped out in a century by nature.
Now all that save the rain forest talk, "Durr no more oxygen without trees durr"
No there would be plenty of oxygen without trees, 70% of the earths oxygen is supplied by algae, and even if there was no algae there is enough oxygen to support humans for at the least 1000 years.

So why are you morons so ******* concerned with saving the natural world?
"Aww so pretty i want my kids to see this durr"
**** it is not like there would be no animals, we eat animals and the species that taste good are doing pretty ******* well compared to every wild species of animal.

Morality is a cancer and a conscience is its slave master.

And when aliens come to pillage the earth from humans suddenly they're the bad guys.
#23 to #5 - mobysdick (11/03/2013) [-]
Well I dont care if the deer thinks we are bad guys... as long as he stays delicious with cranberry sauce
#8 to #5 - thekieran (11/03/2013) [-]
Well actually, the idea of good and bad is arbitrary to the food chain. An alligator isn't bad for eating a frog, and the frog isn't good for poisoning the alligator. The alligator needs to eat, and frog just so happens to be deadly. So if aliens rain from the sky, they aren't bad guys, they're just the dominating force, just like we aren't the good guys if we fight them off. We're opponents for resources, not weights on a scale of good and bad.
User avatar #9 to #8 - infinitereaper (11/03/2013) [-]
I was making a joke and that was kind of the punchline
thanks

User avatar #6 to #5 - jabadagriffins (11/03/2013) [-]
Lets be honest we will do that to another planet before an alien civilisation does it to us.
User avatar #33 to #6 - jukuku (11/03/2013) [-]
Seriously disagree. It wouldn't be economically viable to attack a life sustaining planet for it's resources and on top of that, there are plenty of people who are not sociopaths and would deeply oppose such an action.
User avatar #41 to #33 - jabadagriffins (11/03/2013) [-]
Maybe more people should be sociopaths then.
User avatar #44 to #41 - jukuku (11/03/2013) [-]
Care to explain what you mean by that?
User avatar #45 to #44 - jabadagriffins (11/03/2013) [-]
If we found a planet capable of supporting humans and did not take it because of the natural environment that would be one of the biggest mistakes in human history.

User avatar #46 to #45 - jukuku (11/03/2013) [-]
You don't have to demolish the entire ecosystem to live on a planet.
User avatar #49 to #46 - jabadagriffins (11/03/2013) [-]
