To be honest, enemies respond much better to noise. Perception also no longer auto-displays all nearby enemies, so anything that hasn't aggro'd yet can easily be missed.
That is untill you give them a reason to aggro, such as breathing. Deathclaws hate it when you breath.
-First off, don't play the clarinet
-Never wave your flashlight back and forth really fast, flashlights are their natural prey
-Don't stomp around, they take that as a challenge
-Don't ever eat cheese, sliced or cubed
-Never wear a sombrero in a goofy fashion
-Or clown shoes
-Or a hoop skirt
-and never, ever, EVER, screech like a chimpanzee
I was having a lovely stroll and I found this Yao Guai just having a nice nap in the sky. I had a quicksave here and then immediately saw the legendary alpha deathclaw having a nap on the ground underneath it. Meanwhile like ******* half a god damn mile away an Assaultron attacks a raider and wakes up the deathclaw who chases me for a good 5 minutes of trying to sneak and sprint in spurts.
"noise" implying noise has anything to do with it, i mean you can run into trashcans and drop stuff and throw them at enemies and they won't notice a thing, but if you accientally press movement keys, you are ****** , regardless of how much noise it makes.
The real **** is with stealth perk modifiers, light modifier, armor modifier, stealth field modifiers and movement modifier.
I've got to agree. If I can set the controller to move the same X and Y distance and have no aim-assist I can kick ass like no tomorrow.
Reason number one why I didn't buy Destiny: The aim-assist was so strong that it made my shots go towards the wrong enemies when I was fighting and dodging around groups. Like damn, that was a huge pain in the ass. I loved the challenges but I just hit the skill ceiling so fast in the beta. (Reason number two was that the cursor slowed down over every selected item in the menu which was super annoying.)
In games like Counter-Strike where being able to squat/stop and shoot the opponent in the face with the rifle is the key to winning controllers will never win but I really can do pretty great with just a controller up against a mouse guy.
we have four camera-relative directions to move in, combined with complete freedom of camera aiming, it alows looking in any direction and also makes things like circle strafing easy
I think the soundtrack plays it several times with variations on that same theme. It's prolly just another version from elsewhere in the movie. Go fuggin watch it.
