I've trained myself to only close things using command+w (yes I use a mac for browsing. It's just faster than my Toshiba.) I've become a closing ninja

I normally go Command+Q and say " **** ALL THESE WINDOWS"

it takes google chrome a millennia to open so I always keep it open

Really? Safari, Chrome, and Firefox all open up fairly quickly for me. Using CMD+Q for Safari sometimes makes the damn thing freeze though, which is annoying as hell

Alt F4
User avatar #21 - greenstrongworld (12/01/2013) [-]
F6 also highlights url bar on most browsers.

ctrl + shift + arrows lets you highlight word at a time

windows key + tab lets you shift between tabs looking like a boss (only works on more recent versions of Windows)

ctrl + esc lets you cycle between windows

ctrl + tab lets you cycle between tabs in browsers

If you have a numpad, ctrl + 9 or 3 lets you go through your tabs left to right or vice versa

ctrl + shift + esc opens up task manager versus ctrl + alt + delete which brings you to a menu that can open up task manager

That's all I have.

yeah but f6 is all the way at the top and you would have to move your hand

This cycles tabs left to right.

ctrl + shift + tab cycle tabs from right to left.

Just a little addition to you good list.
