ctrl + shift + arrows lets you highlight word at a time

windows key + tab lets you shift between tabs looking like a boss (only works on more recent versions of Windows)

ctrl + esc lets you cycle between windows

ctrl + tab lets you cycle between tabs in browsers

If you have a numpad, ctrl + 9 or 3 lets you go through your tabs left to right or vice versa

ctrl + shift + esc opens up task manager versus ctrl + alt + delete which brings you to a menu that can open up task manager
