its very cliche, but not horribly executed, just cliche, and pretty bland

you'll have more fun trying to see how early you can accurately guess the entire rest of the movie, honestly, but its not the kind of horrible where you wish you were dying. it's the kind of movie you might watch before the age of streaming on television when you're bored and half doing something else, or before going to sleep because you give zero ***** about quality. it has about two moments that might make you chuckle, if you're not in a terrible mood. the dude prince itself is so bland i cant really imagine anyone going wild over him, either, so who the heck hurt those people so badly

that whole situation just showed how the star system (or any rating, voting system for that matter) can be easily flawed especially in this day and age. The majority of the votes were from people who had never seen the standup special anyway.

Don't get me wrong, i dont like that small mouth whale...but to purposefully vote 1 star despite never seeing it is just retarded in itself.

Usually I can understand cult followings of stuff, but not this. I've seen the movie because my mom watched it when I was home for thanksgiving. It's just what you'd expect: a perfectly standard, and entirely predictable, cheesy Hallmark-tier romance movie.

I don't get why that's such a big weird thing.

Tons of people, my family included, puts a netflix movie on to keep pets with anxiety issues calmed down, or to make it seem like somebody is still home if they live in a bad neighborhood. Hell, I know one person who puts netflix movies on repeat while they do work from home because the background noise helps them focus better.

There's all sorts of reasons to have the first movie that shows up on repeat every single day, and only one of them involves actually watching it.
