I have seen that last fact about Ian McKellen and Patrick Stuart a dozen times, and I can't help but not believe that 2 classical Shakespearean with a wealth of knowledge shared between them did not know how to play a game children are taught in gradeschool. It just doesn't ring true, one of them maybe, but BOTH?

I cannot believe the last one either. Those two 'almost' perfect specimens of human beings, do not know chess?

Yeah, and my farts don't know how to stink.

Children are taught chess in gradeschool?!
Where I live, kids just learn from their grandad or something

I was more thinking of the scaring Sid scene were the toys pop out of the water.
< Pic definitely related.

**mienkampf rolls 7,977** IDK about lord farquaad, the whole movie is a genius play on Propp's Functions, and the character was designed to be a parody of the archetype.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Propp#Functions

And why would a film adaptation of Twilight change the main character? And how could two men of that age never have played a game of chess or at least heard a bit about the basics?

(x) doubt

No liquid in Toy Story? What about when it was raining?

I honestly thought that the rules of chess were common knowledge

Also, I find the Twilight one hard to believe considering the screenplay was based on a book.

I can't believe Dahl was pissed about the Willy Wonka movie.

I mean, I could see him hating that steaming pile of **** with Johnny Depp, but the first one? That movie is a timeless classic!

The Twilight one is false. They actually threw out all decent scripts and aired the abortion.
