This can't happen anymore.
If you have a gold card and try to jack a drink up, the MOST that the "free reward" will cover is 6.75.
Source: my $8 drinks.
I've seriously spent over $300 there on different drink combinations, ask me about a flavor or drink recommendation

I need a good drink or combination for something Cold and chocolatey or warm and chocolatey or anything sweet really. JUST TELL ME!

Java Chip Frappe with 2 pumps of chai and ask for the chocolate syrup to be in the cup

My daily morning coffee is a combination of a full glass of warm milk and five spoonful of sugar.

What Starbucks coffee should I take?
User avatar #181 to #107 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
get a nice creme based frappe' like the cinnamon dulce CREME, when you say that they make it without coffee

Tea, Shaken Sweet.
User avatar #91 to #9 - FUNlover (07/24/2014) [-]
Ok what would you say is the best drink combo you can get if you wanted something cold and sweet?
User avatar #92 to #91 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
Currently you should get the Caramel Ribbon Crunch with 2 pumps of chai and ask for the caramel to be inside the cup instead of on top of the cream.

Thank you good sir.

What if I prefer actual coffee instead of warm milk with half cup of sugar in it?
#97 to #70 - ludislavonac (07/24/2014) [-]
Then this is where it's at for you. Screw that american crap
User avatar #185 to #97 - buttholee (07/26/2014) [-]
My parents are Italian. We don't make coffee. We make espresso... Always.

User avatar #186 to #185 - ludislavonac (07/29/2014) [-]
That's the only proper way to drink a coffee, we call that a turkish coffee since we don't use a coffee machine but a small water cooker instead
User avatar #71 to #70 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
Actual coffee?! then get the cafe americano, walk over to the side-bar, and add your own half-n-half/sugar in it to make it how you like.
#121 to #71 - gaffateip (07/24/2014) [-]
Sugar actually ruins the taste, makes it sweet
#72 to #71 - buttholee (07/24/2014) [-]
I think I'll just stick with this.

I just walk up to counter, and order a large double/double
User avatar #74 to #72 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
Ack-shully if you're trying to just enhance hot coffee, you can get them to add espresso whipped cream on top, it'll melt down into the coffee and cool it off/give it more flavor/taste more espresso-y
User avatar #75 to #74 - buttholee (07/24/2014) [-]
No no no no no... You don't understand. I like normal coffee. 2 milks, 2 sugars, coffee. That's my favourite thing. I understand why some people spring for those extravagant drinks, but they're just not my thing.
User avatar #76 to #75 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
****** SON, you like it plain, that's legit. I personally don't like the bitterness of coffee most days and have to add to it.
User avatar #77 to #76 - buttholee (07/24/2014) [-]
Well, to each their own. I guess.

I've always liked bitter things. I really enjoy espresso too.
User avatar #79 to #77 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
real unsugary dark chocolate is your favorite I take it? and honestly consider taking me up on that added espresso whipped cream idea, even just once ;)
#80 to #79 - buttholee (07/24/2014) [-]
Actually, my fondness for bitterness starts and ends at drinks.

If I can remmber to try that espresso idea, I'll try it. But then you have to try this drink. It's a very aquired taste. You'll hate it at first, but soon you'll be hooked.

The brand is Brio (It's basically Italian coke) but the type of drink is "Chinotto". It's great and all-natural. Give it a try.

I live in Toronto. We get it here. If you don't find it, it's fine. But if you do, remember this thread, and pick it up.
User avatar #83 to #82 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
Wait wut? You live in Canada and don't put Maple Syrup in your coffee?
I'll remember this thread if I see it, and I'll report back if I do try it.
User avatar #84 to #83 - buttholee (07/24/2014) [-]
We don't put syrup in our coffee, but we actually do put it in everything else:donuts, buns, bread, candy, cookies etc...

And that sounds like a plan. Also, because I am Canadian and LOVE hockey do you watch the panthers or the bolts?
User avatar #85 to #84 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
I've been to a few panthers games, everytime I go they lose, so I stopped disappointing my friends.

thought you meant that. If you ask them if they have white chocolate and they do, you can get 2 pumps added to make a nice looking (and tasting) drink

I like making my own coffee but I have a bunch of giftcards to starbucks.

what do
User avatar #38 to #37 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
you can actually buy most of their syrups, and when you do they come with the little pump that makes it easy to put in your own coffee at home!
User avatar #42 to #38 - hateandwhiskey (07/24/2014) [-]
But is it any good?
I mean -
I got grinds from like Belize and Cozumel and **** . I get the feeling it'd be hard for starbucks to match that.
User avatar #45 to #42 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
You can get some of their own beans/blends, but the syrup is actually pretty damn tasty. I do have a Keurig R-cup espresso machine for my hot coffee (I never get hot coffee from outside places) and the vanilla syrup tastes amazing
User avatar #50 to #45 - hateandwhiskey (07/24/2014) [-]
Well I guess I might as well try it since I won't really be spending any money.

You're doing god's work, son.

Trienta Shaken Sweet Tea- it has real pure cane sugar, you get a 32 oz. size, depending on the store it will either be very sweet and taste like a red tea, or less sweet and be more black-tea tasting. Brewed with black tea leaves.
User avatar #35 to #34 - makotoitou (07/24/2014) [-]
thanks coffeebro

I'm not a huge fan of hot coffee, but anything iced is fantastic. What are some of the best iced coffees they have to offer? (Such as the pumpkin spice one that sounds heavenly).
User avatar #31 to #30 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
Pumpkin Spice is season from late August-September to around December.
Currently the Mocha Cookie Crumble is very good, and if you add 3 pumps of Cinnamon Dulce, you'll create a $6 drink (venti) but will taste like Graham Cracker. If you go with 2 Cinnamon and 2 pumps of Chai syrup, it tastes like Teddy-Grahams.
Asking for Breve (bre-vay) makes them use half-n-half cream instead of milk, so it tastes sweeter.

pumpkin spice with white chocolate
User avatar #16 to #14 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/24/2014) [-]
My favorite drink actually is pumpkin spice.
Venti Pumpkin spice frappe, 3 pumps cinnamon dulce, 2 pumps chai, with Whip Cream blended in. While it's blending, get a caramel drizzle inside the cup (that means they'll pour the caramel sauce all over the inside of it, leaving gold streaks).
It tastes like pumpkin pie, and is only around $7-8
#17 to #16 - bleeduntildeath (07/24/2014) [-]
that's my favorite too! I always hate the holidays when they take away my delicious pumpkin spice... I like to mix it with eggnog and call it a thanksgiving special"

I've actually become a friend of everyone who works every shift at my local one, and they gave me a cup of pumpkin spice syrup to take home so that I can randomly pop in and have them make it for me with their my own syrup.

chai tea latte ( not oprah chai)
User avatar #11 to #10 - greenwithenvy ONLINE (07/23/2014) [-]
I hate the oprah chai, but depending on your preference a chai tea latte goes well with 1 pump of dark chocolate syrup if they have it, if not than 2 pumps of normal chocolate syrup stirred in.
User avatar #12 to #11 - hellboundstrength (07/23/2014) [-]
yeah my fav drink is caramel apple spice it's cheap and it's GOOD
