I got a boner just imagining that amount of espresso.
#60 to #7 - Imabur (07/24/2014) [-]
I don't think that says 60, starbucks has 50 cent shots added. so that says 50 shot totaling 48 dollars, thats 96 shots...even better.

A shot of espresso would contain about 64 mg of caffeine. So the drink contains about 4 grams of caffeine. The deadly dose of caffeine is about 10 grams. So it probably would give you a near death coffee ***** .

The drink had 60 shots in it.
It had so much caffeine (about 4500 mg) that it could kill him if he drank it all at once.
It took him 5 days to drink it all.

If you drink large amounts of caffeine to begin with and with the right metabolism you can consume quite a lot before it killed you. Last year I got a urinary tract infection from drinking copious amounts of coffee, ended up going to the doctor who told me I had already exceeded the lethal dose of caffeine and was surprised I was even able to sit down.
#118 to #2 - anon (07/24/2014) [-]

There are a lot of variables to take into account with something as common as caffeine. Base resistance to it, built up resistance due to frequent consumption, possible health conditions... I know that I get jittery and shakey to the point that I can't hold a pencil or any kitchenware just by drinking a single can of Coke. Different people have difference reactions.

I hate the oprah chai, but depending on your preference a chai tea latte goes well with 1 pump of dark chocolate syrup if they have it, if not than 2 pumps of normal chocolate syrup stirred in.

My favorite drink actually is pumpkin spice.
Venti Pumpkin spice frappe, 3 pumps cinnamon dulce, 2 pumps chai, with Whip Cream blended in. While it's blending, get a caramel drizzle inside the cup (that means they'll pour the caramel sauce all over the inside of it, leaving gold streaks).
It tastes like pumpkin pie, and is only around $7-8
#17 to #16 - bleeduntildeath (07/24/2014) [-]
that's my favorite too! I always hate the holidays when they take away my delicious pumpkin spice... I like to mix it with eggnog and call it a thanksgiving special"

User avatar #31 to #30 - greenwithenvy (07/24/2014) [-]
Pumpkin Spice is season from late August-September to around December.
Currently the Mocha Cookie Crumble is very good, and if you add 3 pumps of Cinnamon Dulce, you'll create a $6 drink (venti) but will taste like Graham Cracker. If you go with 2 Cinnamon and 2 pumps of Chai syrup, it tastes like Teddy-Grahams.
Asking for Breve (bre-vay) makes them use half-n-half cream instead of milk, so it tastes sweeter.

Trienta Shaken Sweet Tea- it has real pure cane sugar, you get a 32 oz. size, depending on the store it will either be very sweet and taste like a red tea, or less sweet and be more black-tea tasting. Brewed with black tea leaves.

Ack-shully if you're trying to just enhance hot coffee, you can get them to add espresso whipped cream on top, it'll melt down into the coffee and cool it off/give it more flavor/taste more espresso-y
User avatar #75 to #74 - buttholee (07/24/2014) [-]
No no no no no... You don't understand. I like normal coffee. 2 milks, 2 sugars, coffee. That's my favourite thing. I understand why some people spring for those extravagant drinks, but they're just not my thing.

real unsugary dark chocolate is your favorite I take it? and honestly consider taking me up on that added espresso whipped cream idea, even just once ;)
#80 to #79 - buttholee (07/24/2014) [-]
Actually, my fondness for bitterness starts and ends at drinks.

If I can remmber to try that espresso idea, I'll try it. But then you have to try this drink. It's a very aquired taste. You'll hate it at first, but soon you'll be hooked.

The brand is Brio (It's basically Italian coke) but the type of drink is "Chinotto". It's great and all-natural. Give it a try.

I work at a local coffee shop and a friend of mine came in and asked for espresso in our largest mug. I thought he was referring to a large latte at first but then he just said "Naw, lattes are just cups of espresso watered down with milk". So we ended up giving him about 30 shots worth of espresso in our largest mug, my boss was going to refuse him initially for legal reasons and of course the reason of not wanting to kill him until he just said "This'll be my fourth cup today!"

He handed me the empty mug about an hour later I **** you not
