Mmm... Perhaps. .. No, it's because milk would remove the poison debuff.

No matter how many times I watch this gif it always upsets me that the person pouring the milk just goes " **** it" and spills a ton of it

You must be fun at parties.

But seriously, thanks for that. I never had someone to confirm what milk does. The more I know.

I hate the fact that I feel like I know who this guy is but I'm too afraid to actually ask him....

For those who want to know. It's because it coats the inside of your stomach and pretty much negates the chemicals in the cleaning product.

Due to the enzymes in milk it can also precipitate many dissolved poisonous materials like lead, so that instead of getting into your bloodstream it just precipitates out and you **** it.

not enough from stopping the poison... it only delays it...

milk is great right before heavy drinking

I thought it was also because milk is slightly acidic and most cleaning products are base.
User avatar #25 to #3 - geofalke (12/12/2013) [-]
that and most cleaning products are bases. one of the main parts of milk is lactic acid, so it would have a slight canceling effect on the cleaning product.

Milk is a base and has other qualities in it that acts as a buffer to keep the overall ph level in balance to ensure that the person can survive long enough to get their stomach pumped with minimal damage.

Is it because milk is a base?
