I like Echos gun for some reason, it's not particularly great but I've been able to pull off some things with it. I love both of them.

the only thing i like about the mp5ssd is the acog, sorry it isn't so good for me

i only ever use his bering 90, i need to use his supernova to make rotation holes and such anyway

Is it a texture issue? My mother in law likes medium well because she doesn't like the texture of medium rare or rare.

I tend to like everything a bit more when its cooked through fully. I like the texture being a bit crisper, I prefer the cooked brown and black colors over the pink and reds, and I prefer the flavor that comes from the char. Its not just steaks, its with everything that I'm like this. Eggs, for example, I like them browned and fried rather than runny. With ham I prefer it fried up and toasty before I put it on a sandwich. Pizza I'll throw under the broiler for a minute after its done to roast the cheese, then sometimes even flip it over and toast the bottom for a slice of pizza that will stand up when held from the crust.

Interesting. My father in law likes stuff toasty/charred too. I'm the opposite. Rare steaks, raw fish right on the boat, runny eggs, etc are my favorite.

What about bread, like for a sandwich, how toasty do you go?

Oddly enough my father is also the opposite of me when it comes to food, he loves some runny eggs and bleeding steaks.

With bread I prefer a nice golden brown if I'm cooking it from a toaster or broiler, slightly darker if I'm pan frying it with butter. I'd rather it not be burned, but I'd like to have a crisp texture throughout while still maintaining the bread's flavor.

I'm with you 100% on the bread. Lighter out of the toaster, but darker if I'm making a grilled cheese in a pan or on the grill.
