We have these in Mass too, we call them horse chestnuts. I used to have a couple of buddys I'd play a game with where we'd throw these ************* at eachother the first to shed a visible tear lost.

They're about the size of a golf ball.

I'd actually prefer buckeyes over those things. I imagine they'd pretty easy to miss if you weren't looking for them.

they are very easy. The parking lot at my work has them and I frequently have to pick them out of my shoes.
