i don't know why people thumb you down, the movie sucked ass, i only watched it to connect the other movies before the avengers: age of ultron i actually have seen it twice before, but vaguely remember it due to falling asleep mid-movie
I think it's nice to watch/play things in their internal chronological order (like above, the chronological order of the setting), but it isn't necessary and shouldn't be done first, in my opinion watching/playing things in release order is best for first
Its easy to assume Guardians of the Galaxy takes Place Before Age of Ultron but I Think it might take Place after since the Purple Infinity gem is shown in the orb Starlord finds it in and not in the orb its in at the end of Guardians in Age of ultron.
Just finished wathching Daredevil and i think its ******* amazing. I seriously hope Daredevil makes an appearance in Civil War and other future marvel films
Could do yourself a favor and just never watch a Marvel tv show unless it's daredevil. They really don't connect to mcu at all, the mcu just impacts their already terrible storylines vaguely.
Alright season 1 of Agents of Shield kinda sucked but the end of it and all of season 2 is ******* awesome, and Agent Carter is just a good show, so give it a shot man.
iv seen every episode of both show. It didn't get better, they just paid actual guest stars to take the focus off of how little chemistry the actual cast has as well as their deplorable acting ability in season two, doesn't mean it is magically good now, because they killed off everyone with actual talent at the end of it.
and agent carter somehow magically got renewed despite their ****** ratings and horrible reviews. and it will continue, because abc, disney, and marvel go hand in hand.
even my most hardcore marvel fan friends hate those shows, they are just widely considered bad tv, with or without love for marvel. though there are some that will always like anything marvel no matter what it is. tv board seems to hate them too.
Look, I know I'm a completely minority on this, but I'm kinda getting tired of all these Marvel movies. I feel like they could reduce the number of content just a little less. It's hard keeping up with all the movies and TV shows.
Plus, I don't like the idea of having to wait years and years for a franchise to end.
I like it more when a movie has no cliffhangers whatsoever and ties up all loose ends in one movie.
And before I watched the Avengers I had to watch Thor, which was in my opinion one of the most generic superhero movies of all time. If I have to watch a slightly above average movie in order to fully enjoy the follow up, it kinda bothers me.
I gave my honest opinion. I am ready for your rage.
Well I was 2 when they came out so I couldn't really get stoked about them then. I didn't start reading comics until I was 5 or 6. I don't think I got into Marvel until I was 8.
I personally love that there is so much to this franchise now. I always find myself wanting more after watching a movie or series, and then if I do get more, it feels half assed, but so far I haven't been disappointed by any of the sequels for the Marvelverse.
I agree that the first Thor movie was lackluster. I felt like it was trying to play off a Masters of the Universe idea, but with Gimli, Legolas and Eowyn(or however you spell the elf chicks name, Aragorn's girlfriend). It is probably my least favorite movie of the recent marvel flicks Nobody liked the Incredible Hulk
It gives me something to look forward to. People had Harry Potter, Twilight and their other book movies, but me I never had that. I didn't care for either one now I have a series that appeals to me. Sure, the Agent of SHIELD crap I don't care for but everything else is really good and I am happy to have so many things to look forward too.
Except the Hulk. I just don't like his movies and I fear he maybe getting a third one.
"I don't like the idea of having to wait years and years for a franchise to end."
Not really surprising you don't like comic book movies, then, considering that's exactly what the source material runs from. One of the fundamental principles that comic books run on is having long, interconnecting stories that at the end of each arc produce a number of well-developed characters with their own ideals, goals, and end results.
I agree that not all of the Marvel movies are going to be favorable, but I've felt that's more attributed to the source material than the quality of movie itself. Every movie so far has been pretty well produced, but some of the characters might simply be slow at times (Captain America and Thor's first film being big examples, though I personally still enjoyed them both).
The reason there's so damn many is because of meticulous fans who have to have every tiny uninteresting character made into a feature length film. I mean come on, ant-man? that's bottom of the barrel **** sandwiched in between glorious Avengers master-film.
Black Panther is my favorite Avenger simply because hes the first really useful black super heroe. Luke Cage and The Falcon were b class at best when they came out.
Well that's cool, but it's kind of hard to put his movie into this particular situation when we know nothing beyond "Black Panther is in it" about it, so...yeah. I'm just mildly confused why you bring it up here and now, is all.
I have only read a few comic books, but I get the feeling that the movies aren't detailed enough to make this matter.
I watched guardians of the galaxy and read planetary annihalation and a few of the guardians of the galaxy comics, and they had very little in common starlords background isn't even featured, so why would I give a **** about what happened before the movie.
