its like next he tried to shoot himself but the gun broke as he pulled the trigger, then he tried jumping off a building but the roof broke as it caved in and had his fall cushioned by a bed beneath him, then he enlisted in the army to volunteer for suicide missions but humans made peace and destroyed all weapons,as he gave up he went home to eat and slipped on his porch and snapped his neck in half...happy endings are great

Final destination 100, 1 person takes the blame for cheating death 8 times instead of their friends getting the penalty, so that 1 person avoids 8 deaths and gets his death once he's made his peace and truthfully chooses that he wants to live.

this text was clearly translated. in whatever original language it was spoken in, the word for 'waterheater' might not specify the 'heating' part. perhaps he said something like 'water tank that can heat water' in his own language.

It's Chinese. The word for water heater is re shui qi. Re=hot, shui=water, qi=machine
The repetition is just a colloquial thing that Chinese people do for emphasis. Translating it literally sounds weird.

I don't understand why so many people are against suicide... if the weak minded people of the world want to kill themselves then **** it, let them. More room and resources for the rest of us. If they're too soft and too much of a pussy to deal with life because it's just so gosh darn hard then kill yourself. You wont be missed. Or you could just man the **** up and be tough.

This is how I see it. If you go to a movie and it ******* sucks, no one will blame you for leaving early. Chances are it wont get any better.

The reason people care about other people committing suicide is:
-They care about that person (family,friends,bf/gf, etc).
-People who have been through depression know that it CAN get better, but people trying to commit suicide won't live to see their life get better.
-Some people want to commit suicide because of something stupid, like someone broke up or they had fight with a friend. If those people commit suicide, they won't find someone else to love, and the friend they had a fight with will feel sorry for the rest of his life
-Some people want to do it because their whole life has sucked so far. What they (often) don't know is that they can start a completely new life by just changing their habits, or moving away from their parents, or stuff like that.
-Loads of people do it because of bullies. Noone should be bullied in such a way that they don't want to live anymore. Unfortunally, it happens quite often that the bullies will only get their punishment after their victim has (tried to) commit suicide.
-Some religions believe that someone who commits suicide won't end up in heaven. This is a major reason for a lot of believers to be against suicide

I for one, tried to commit suicide when I was very young. It's a personal weak point for me, and I understand why some people want to commit suicide. Other reasons are incredibly petty and stupid (like Amanda Todd saying she wanted to make the others feel bad) and it just pisses me off. But ultimately, I can't stand the idea of having the same pain I felt, being told the same lies, the same **** about themselves. I can't stand the thought of somebody's last thoughts being "I hate myself, I'm not good enough, I can't do it."

*****, I don't think you appreciate how not mad I am. I never said the world is great, but it's a lot better than what you think it is. Darwinism only relates to species. Humans are a group animal, we support the herd. We're also above most animals because we care about every member of the group. We're the only species to act on "Never leave a man behind." Nothing else acts that way. We as humans, are surrounded by ****, but we strive to be more, to do more than just get by.

Now stop being so edgy. It's scaring the children.

I'm allowed to have a different opinion without being called edgy... people on this site love to overuse that word. You don't need other people for emotional support. That's weak pussy ****. Need help moving a couch? I understand needing a friend. But because you're feeling sad is not a good reason. Man the **** up and get over it. Life is hard, people have bad lives. Bitching about it wont change anything. If you can't handle being a man than kill yourself. You're too weak for this world obviously.

It's not really that easy you know? You can't control what to think, at least to some extent. (Let us not go into an argument about free will which is extremely lengthy and, for the most part, only has subjective answers and thus will stray us from the main point of this) It's not like they want to be sad.

They see suicide as an option because they can't find a way to be happy.

I agree they are weaker minded than most people, but that doesn't exactly mean it is their fault as in many it is fruit of external events like abuse in childhood and extreme cases of bullying which are out of their control.

It really is that easy. Mind over matter. It's just a mental block, nothing physically stopping them. It's all in their head and they need to power through it. Do you think the great men who built this Nation said "I can't work on the trans continental railroad today...i'm sad..." No! They were actually real men and tough and powered through it!

This might sound "edgy" but I promise you i'm really not trying to sound like that.

You come into this world alone and you'll go out of it alone. All you need is yourself. This is the problem. There's no more self reliance. No one is independent. Everyone relies on other people too god damn much.

We humans have survived for so long because we are stronger as a group. Even cavemen would stay in groups, because the loners got eaten, being alone was the equivalent of suicide.
In the past few centuries we did it to invent; to share ideas, and be enlightened.
We used to do it to survive, or to better the world. Nowadays we do it to be comfy.

We should still rely on eachother, but just a little bit less. This is my opinion.

So, no one ever needs anyone else...ok, then get off the internet, get away from all civilization and technology, go out into an uncultivated area with no one for miles around and no contact, and see how you do with the rest of your life. The technology you use, the food you get from the store, the water you drink from the tap or a bottle...all of that was made possible by people who came up with the ideas, put them into motion, and/or work to keep them going.

Studies have been done to show the effects of isolation on humans as well as animals. You really sound like you have no clue, or are simply trying to troll. If this is a troll attempt, please be less obvious. If not, you need to be checked for brain damage.
