Why do american doughnuts have holes? Where do they put the chocolate filling?

we have those here, they are generally cream filled. we have those, doughnuts with holes, the holes of dougnuts, chocolate doughnut dicks (bear claws(I dont understand the name either)) a whole lot of other things.
User avatar #214 to #162 - commontroll (06/17/2014) [-]
Depends on the doughnut. We've got jelly and custard filled ones, but most people like the ones without filling, and with icing or glazing. The whole was put in them so the batter would actually be cooked and wouldn't be doughy in the center since doughnut dough is so thick.

Pfff In chile we call this "Berlin", the cream is custard

No one around here ever claps, about anything.

It's nice.

I've never seen people clap at the end of a movie unless it was a day one premiere

Yeah, the only time I saw clapping was at an early show where some of the directors and critics attended.

As an American I've never seen anyone clap at the end of a movie, although I guess they do it at some premiers. ******* whackjobs.
User avatar #325 to #297 - thebaseballexpert (06/18/2014) [-]
I've clapped during movies, before, when something exciting happened
#319 to #65 - selfdenyingbeggar (06/18/2014) [-]
it began as a joke because americans applaude in airplanes. It has been taken out of the airplane context.
User avatar #324 to #319 - thebaseballexpert (06/18/2014) [-]
since when do we applaud in airplanes?? I've been flying for years, and the only time i've heard mass applause was when it was on of the flight attendants birthday
#326 to #324 - selfdenyingbeggar (06/18/2014) [-]
then perhaps the other reply is more accurate. I've had it in both airplanes and cinemas and maybe americans do tend to clap more than n other countries? or perhaps it's because they applaud in cases that seem ordinary to others.

User avatar #32 to #22 - Sacrifice (06/16/2014) [-]
From what I can see, drop scones seem very similar to American pancakes. Or you can buy the fatter, fluffier pancakes in supermarkets.
Also our thin pancakes are pretty much the same batter as Yorkshire puddings, so go crazy with toppings. There's more to life than lemon and sugar, my friend!
User avatar #39 to #32 - unicornmangina (06/16/2014) [-]
I shall give them a try next year although this year I'm pretty sure the pancakes were rubbish because my dad got muddled up somehow and bought pancakes meant for crispy duck...
User avatar #42 to #39 - Sacrifice (06/16/2014) [-]
Oh...well that would definitely cock it up a little, haha. I'm sure they're thinner and blander so that you taste the duck more than them.
No wonder you didn't like them as much.

Yeah it does, you just have to figure out the right ratios
User avatar #247 to #145 - penileburglar (06/17/2014) [-]
No it doesn't, you obviously either haven't tried it or don't know what it's supposed to taste like... And they said the ratio in the 'life hack.'
User avatar #270 to #247 - collateraldamageco (06/17/2014) [-]
I have tried making it and I have bought the actual thing and they do taste very similar. The ratio they have in the life hack isn't the same one I used to get it to taste right
User avatar #290 to #270 - penileburglar (06/17/2014) [-]
Then you simply have awful tastes. Or are making **** up. I've tried it with different ratios and it simply is nothing like baja blast--nor are the ingredients remotely similar.
User avatar #301 to #290 - collateraldamageco (06/17/2014) [-]
why would I lie about something so trivial? they taste the same, ******* get over it. idk why you care so much about this
User avatar #309 to #301 - penileburglar (06/17/2014) [-]
'idk why you care so much about this'

You're the one who felt the need to 'correct' me, and you're still here arguing, and even getting mad about it now. You care as much, if not probably more, than I do. And I have no idea why you would lie about something so trivial, but I have tried it and know you're lying.
User avatar #311 to #309 - collateraldamageco (06/17/2014) [-]
I'm getting mad because you're calling me a liar and saying I must have awful tastes because I don't agree with you. Also only an complete idiot would think someone would lie about the taste of some stupid beverage
User avatar #312 to #311 - penileburglar (06/17/2014) [-]
I'm saying you're either a liar or have awful tastes because you're either a liar or have awful tastes. Because I've tasted it and it's not even remotely close to baja blast, so either you have very dull taste buds and can't tell the difference or are lying.

And only a complete idiot is naive enough to think that people won't make **** up just for the sake of disagreeing on the internet. You must be new here.
User avatar #317 to #312 - collateraldamageco (06/17/2014) [-]
And I'm saying your assumptions are wrong. Maybe it's you who has the bad taste buds. That's probably not the case though because that's a ******* retarded thing to think just because someone might possibly taste things differently. I'm not new here nor am I naive and regardless of whether or not they taste the same you're still a complete dickhead.
User avatar #318 to #317 - penileburglar (06/17/2014) [-]
You're definitely naive if you think people on the internet haven't lied for less.
