There are stories that when he was younger, Leonardo Da Vinci was in sexual relationships with other men. Like one time he was caught in some kind of "sexcapade" thing with a bunch of other guys and almost got into huge legal problems for it (because homosexuality was extremely frowned upon back then). I don't know the truth/history/validity of it. It's kind of interesting if you go back and look at history which historical figures were homosexual.

One that was rumored to be gay was Nikola Tesla. He died alone, no romantic partner, no offspring, women were interested in him and he just pushed them away from what I read. Another one is Arthur C. Clarke, he basically invented satellite/GPS technology and wrote the story behind "2001: A Space Odyssey". He was supposedly "very close" to male friend(s) and some have even called him out on being gay.

It's a shame people like Nikola Tesla (if he really was gay) had to die alone because of it for their great contributions to the world just because of their sexuality. I guess we will never know, him or Da Vinci, was their sexuality was like.

It's just a theory, it;s not proven if he was or not, and it's likely it never will be.
