Day 1 problems are expected...
What was not expected is for Sony to be able to fix problems as quick as what they have.. Which is ******* awesome...

It wasn't a worldwide release so the issues weren't that much of a problem. As for the malfunctioning units, there isn't much excuse for that.

Except that's highly unlikely.

Maybe but you also have to think of the fact that these people received these consoles early..
Maybe that was so that they could be a sort of trial and error before the release..
So that when the release did come they would have all the info of the consoles which were given away by taco bell early to make sure the consoles that were released later would be running smoothly..
To me it sounds like you are just trying to poke as many holes in the ps4 as possible and find any excuse to put them down or compare them to "red ring of death"...
But again man, you have to remember first day problems...
Also the fact of how fast the problems are being resolved..
I mean the hole span of the xbox the red ring still happened....
So yeah sony is doing a pretty damn good job!
inb4 red ring was solved no it wasn't you faggot...

These were days before the consoles were released in stores. They were already shipped out. It wasn't "trail and error" or any kind of fix.

The Taco bell consoles were prizes. They weren't a test.

Sure, if disregarding me as a "faggot" makes you feel better, keep believing that.

The Red Ring was fixed.

I'm guessing you're an xbox fan boy riiight?
btw if you deny then we all know you are...
That's what they do...
oh yes it does make me feel better...
But anyways they still made a good system with a few flaws that were fixed in few days.. Find some way to argue against that, but that's just what you were wishing for when Microsoft had their problems...
Poke all the holes you want sir, I have no shame in admitting xbox won the first console war.. Maybe you should learn to do the same in this situation...

1: You totally are..
2: No way in knowing unless you have a time machine..
3: Are you 4? Because I imagine a 5 year old could click on a profile and find out..

Also I have a lot of free time so I can do this all day..

"No way in knowing unless you have a time machine" When they tell us what the games they will have are mostly games you can already play on your current console and PC, and the only exclusives are getting meh-bad reviews it's pretty obvious to tell that they're not worth the money.

You're talking about their launch. You can't jump to years past the launch and try to make an effective point.

Then are you trying to say that a couple years after launch that they will all the sudden become good systems...
We are far past talking about the launch as you said 'they are both bad systems!'..
Not "they will both suck at launch"
I think saying it's a bad system would reflect on how they work at launch and way after...

The malfunctioning units are mostly the ones that people won from Taco Bell. It's likely Taco Bell just kept them in a damp warehouse or something without bothering to keep them safe.
