And I fail to see the problem. Extortion works well, as torture. These tools are extremely useful for upward mobility. Sure it's underhanded if not illegal, but hey. Kids gotta learn sometime how to play and not be played, or else society would collapse at the hands of people like Donald Trump.
I live in Michigan, and they played the Let it Go song from Frozen on repeat until they made money, although it was shut down on the grounds of torture, and stealing.
When I was in high school they did something similar, they played "the song that never ends" repeatedly between classes to try to raise money for some charity. I found it wildly irritating and inappropriate.mfw when walking by the principal's office that week.
At the very least if you want to takes kids lunch money for donations, why not come up with something more fun, honest, and/or original about the charity?
its Illinois we all know everything is corrupt right now.
in a typical passing period you could play that song 2 maybe 3 times depending on the school.
**bellbottomshark used "*roll picture*"** **bellbottomshark rolled image** And the parasite egg-born don't know it so they sing. "Let me eat, I'm a fairy."
That is some pants-on-head retarded logic Though it doesn't surprise me that schools believe that stuff
Bully steals an inhaler, which might be required to keep some poor kid from DYING, suspend his punk ass
Kids spray each other with medicine? Sit those kids down in the principal's office and give them the talking to they obviously need. Kids do dumb **** all the time, but most stop if you give them a reason to stop
Prescription only so it can't be left with kids? Have the student give it to his teacher at the beginning of class boom problem solved.
It's so sad that some poor parents had to bury their child because the school was too stupid to let him keep his medication on hand.
trust me having any kind of medical need that requires constant medication is a pain in the ass during school I had severe asthma but in order to have my inhaler on me which i basically did i had to sign 3 papers every ******* semester for every year from 6th grade till 12th i had to write a form on why i needed the inhaler and have a doctors note as well.
for sports it was even more hell since most the coaches didn't give two ***** about our health id have to fight with them to hold it for me since i couldn't. I even had one coach that tried to give me a speech about how it's in my head and i don't really need that damn medicine just quit being a crybaby and suck it up.
They didn't
What happened was the kid wanted to carry an inhaler, of course the school said yes, and also requested an inhaler for the office. the mother never delivered it to the school, and the kid, being a kid, lost his inhaler, and later had an asthma attack. kid suffered eucase the mom forogt, and shee redirected blame to the board.

I am doubtful about this legend being fact or fiction. I also have no idea if they mean sperm or semen, since it seems 95% of people think semen is sperm. Those same people also have no idea what a vagina is.
What the fact about the condors neglects to mention is that the near extinction of the species was a bottleneck event which has lead to the newly established populations being severely lacking in genetic diversity. This means that not only is the species incredibly vulnerable to any threat, but most, if not all, of the resulting offspring suffer from some kind of congenital disease which, if I remember correctly, causes severe muscle atrophy. Bring back a species from the brink of extinction seems all well and good in theory, but if you don't have the genetic diversity to buffer it into stability, self sufficiency, and success, you might just be condemning generations of individuals to a lifetime of suffering for no reason.
It's especially tragic once you realize that since those species are so vulnerable to collapse, so are the ecosystems they inhabit, depending on how vital they are.
I said that I didn't mind other people posting the same content as me, and what I COULDN'T handle was him not posting the sources to the pics. Therefore, you are too lazy to read, your argument is invalid, go **** yourself.
I don't know, she has a lot of screen time, plus her eyes are constantly moving around. That's the reason they don't show the wolves or dragons often; the CGI is pretty expensive and time consuming. It probably wouldn't be worth it for the effect, and the effect could wind up looking silly anyway.
You don't remember the "her hair is silver-gold, her eyes are amethysts" line? In fact, I think Valyrian drangonlords were known for those traits in general.
Maybe I just read it mindlessly, there are so many super detailed character descriptions in those books it becomes habit to not pay much attention to them
Not just character descriptions, but also environmental ones. Martin is an expert with vivid descriptions. Also, it's possible that that specific quote may have been from one of the preview chapters of book 6, though I can't remember. They definitely do reference her eyes earlier, though.
The only preview chapter I've read was the one with Aria killing the guard that came to the play, so maybe. Though it also could have been in the beginning of the first book and that was a bit more than a year ago when I read it.
IIRC it was mentioned a ton in AGOT for Viserys, Dany and Rhaegar and how all of their eyes had different shades of purple. I know for sure that there was a comparison between Young Griff's eyes and Danys in ADWD.
Not purple though. Violet.
Martin repeatedly said that eyes are not some impossible color, just that really rare shade of dark blue like Elizabeth Taylor's that look violet in certain light.
"Look at her. That silver-gold hair, those purple eyes... she is the blood of old Valyria, no doubt, no doubt..."
-Illyrio Mopatis to Viserys Targaryen, regarding Daenerys.
"Egg had big eyes, and somehow his shaven head made them look even larger. In the dimness of the lamplit cellar they looked black, but in better light their true colour could be seen: deep and dark and purple. Valyrian eyes."
Sir Duncan the Tall, regarding Aegon V.
They are referred to as purple at various points, with Daenerys' eyes being compared to amethyst, which is a deep purple gem. The shades of the eyes of Daenerys and her siblings are as follows: Daenerys- Violet, Viserys- pale lilac, and Rhaegar- dark indigo. This is a striking feature of most Targaryens (and Valyrians in general), and those with blue eyes, like Alysanne and Valarr Targaryen are categorized separately. Pic related, the only official artwork with a closeup of a Targaryen face that I could find. It's Aerion Targaryen, Aegon I's father.
Read interviews with Martin.
Its generally known that people in middle ages exaggerate. Martin is a scholar of middle ages.
He said, repeatedly, in interviews that Targaryen eyes are striking but not supernatural, and used Liz Taylor as an example of "Targaryen" eyes.
Maybe. I'm just using what I know. If you can source this to me, I'd appreciate it. However, like I said, Aerion's portrait is official artwork. Also, of the quotes I posted, only the one in comment #60 about the amethyst eyes was made by someone who wasn't presently looking at the individual they were describing, so exaggeration is unlikely in their case. Finally, it was said that Daemon II Blackfyre wore deep blue clothing in order to make his eyes appear more blue than purple.
Eh I'd have to go through the interviews, but I do have this
GRRM about House Dayne's eyes:
"As for the violet eyes . . . look, Elizabeth Taylor has violet eyes, and she's not of Valyrian descent (that I know). Nor is she related to Aegon the Conquerer. Many Swedes have blue eyes, but not all those with blue eyes are Swedes, and not all Swedes have blue eyes. The same confusions exist in the 7 Kingdoms. "
Now this doesn't prove anything, except that Taylor has Valaryan eyes (and so does House Dayne). But in other interviews he keeps using her as an example of how Valaryan eyes look. Some deeper, some lighter but basically that.
The Daynes are stoney Dornishmen who do not to my knowledge have any Targaryen relations. I think Lady Ashara Dayne just had purplish eyes, but she's not Valyrian. That quote honestly sounds like it could be his explanation for why Ashara's eyes would look violet but still be different from Targaryen eyes.
The question was are Daynes of Valaryan descent.
And Martin was explaining that while they have eyes like Targaryens, they do not have Valaryan blood. Thus the Sweeds and blue eyes. You can read that part as:
Valaryans have violet eyes, but not everyone with violet eyes is Valaryan and not all Valaryans have violet eyes.
I agree that their eyes look violet and even like amethyst.
Shade of eyes Taylor has under darker conditions look like that. Its pretty breathtaking, and very very rare. As far as I know it only appears naturally in people with Swiss descent.
For example, look at this pic of Taylor, its def amethyst eyes.
The asthma inhaler one is ********* the school didn't forbid it, at all. what really happened is the mother wanted the kid to have both an inhaler on him and in the office. the mother never sent the second inhaler to the office. the kid lost the inhaler, later had an attack, which did kill him. What really happened is the mother got lazy, the got was a kid and lost his inhaler, and the kid died because of it.

the asthma one
I really wanna know the thought process in the teacher and principals head.
And have they never encountered another person with asthma before in their life?
