Elagabalus was ******* insane. He would mount a catapult on the balcony and start throwng snakes in people. he would make lotteries and award people with "bees" and dead dogs. He also hid lions in his guest chambers (the result is obvious).

Overall he was a really bad emperor and was rightfully assassinated by praetorians.
