Civil engineers do.
Im taking statics next semester and mechanics of deformable bodies the semester after.

Statics is exactly about equilibrium and center of gravity, and mechanics of deformable bodies is exactly about structural integrity.

step up, *****

I loved statics, not so much solid mechanics. It was a pretty hard class.

I'm studying constructional engineering in Denmark. On our very first day we had to make a structure out of marshmallows and spaghetti, and the winner got it up to 160cm. And that was before we had any lectures about static systems, and different loads. Just don't EVER play any balancing games with the *******. Even when they are drunk they start making ******* archs and **** out of empty beer bottles, making the bartender's job a living hell when cleaning up.
